Anoel wrote:Hummmmm, can't get married to Katsumi, huh? I'll have to test that one....

And I've basically played Fire Emblem Awakening mostly out of my system. I'm most of the way through my second play through and doing it much more leisurely now.

I'm also working on getting the kids programmed in. And working on another programming project. (One that might even get me paid one day! Not that I'm resentful about this one being basically charity.)

Edit: How's Katsumi's confession/proposal? Do you get the dialog where she asks you of your feelings? You have to get that and say yes. The marriage should happen 5 days later.
In fact, I did! If you talk to her again she repeats the confession. I will play further to find out...

Oh, and I will PM you with my full name for the credits. sorry about that, I forgot.

Oh, and i'm not sure if this is complete yet, but Jason is the only one who takes notice of your marriage and The Hot tub lady (I forgot her name!) is the only one that takes notice of your birthday...

I only have Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, but I can't beat one level :shock:

EDIT: Whoaaaaa massive bug! I kept sleeping for a couple of days to test this and I randomly got the credits, So i guess that was the wedding.... but then i got an error. i clicked "contniue" and no game screen popped up. the only thing left was the clock screen.

My error screen shows me the problem, I can show you what I see if want.

Yes, please show me the error. It's likely something I forgot to put an initial value in for the house.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

So, it thinks that the reference to the house form that's being called has been done away with. I think I've fixed that in my current workings.
Also, I'll upload a new version when I've finished putting in the MC's children stuff.

Edit: Also, does the engaged shipping bug consist of the ship button not being there, or something else? I'm trying to replicate it.

The ship button is not there at all.

Thank you, Guihm. I agree that ANB is a time sink. And I can't seem to replicate the engaged shipping error.......

Next beta is going up shortly! And information will go up with it as to how to transfer your save data. However, you won't be able to transfer from v4 to v5, seeing as I added more values to the save file.

Also, please let me know if your ship button on the rucksack form vanishes at any time, especially if you're engaged to someone!

Thank you Anoel! I didn't think it was possible but you finally made the transfer system!

I will download the new version soon. I will be able to find any new bugs quickly cause I will be home for the majority of march break.

No problem! :) Glad to help anytime.

EDIT: I recently downloaded the new version and found a bug.

The bug where the shipping button is gone (not the engaged one) is back. I'm talking about the one that was in V.1. This bug could only happen on rainy days, but I haven't confirmed it yet.

I am still looking out for any other bugs though, I just wanted to tell you this one right away.

I don't know why this game can't be for a 12 year old. Well, the option for same gender marriage might make some parents nervous, but other than that, I can't think of anything. Well, other than there may be some big words in there.
The file size for the most recent is 12 MB, not much at all. And it should run on pretty well on relatively slow computers. Everything you need to run the game is in the download file. Of course, you need to have something to unzip the folder, but that's not too hard to do.
Also, it's Satoshi-kun.

Your programmer has had an attack of the self doubts, so new poll! Please vote honestly. If I find out anyone lied, I'll be very upset with them. I won't be able to do anything to them, but I'll be upset.

Don't lie to cheer me up either!
