Okay so a long time ago I accidentally dropped my game in the water. Then I started playing again a few weeks ago and just yesterday my file CORRUPTED! I got so pissed because i had all the roads remade and every place unlocked and I just finished mining for 3 hours and earning 170k from alexandrite and mythic stones. You have no idea how mad I got. But since I am so addicted I feel like restarting my game and I totally forgot how I got money my first year. Help?! and should I just sell this game or something and buy harvest moon ds or grand bazaar? hehe

Alright there's two path a gamer can take. The easy path or the extremely extreme path. Easy path, do what the above poster said and also grow a lot of turnips; skip the potatoes; and sell them all while attempting to the win the first vegetable crop festival. While you're doing that, buy a chicken coop and invest in some chickens, it'll give you a good stable income overall. From that point onwards, you'll eventually get back you want to be again.
The other path requires extreme dedication to not give in so quickly and a lot of planning. In other words, abuse the entire game mechanics to work for you. I won't talk about it but the easier path is much more entertaining so stick with that.
One more thing, give chopped lumber to Taro till you get a fishing rod and fish at the sea to make a good profit. Your profit will come from fishing mostly for the first few weeks.
