I have some questions about moving. Sorry if they've been asked before, they probably have.
What changes when you move to a different town?
Do the villagers welcome you?
Does their dialogue change at all?
Do they like you more?
Does anyone mention anything about you leaving the other town?
Are there certain town events that you can only see if you live in that town?
And what about the town you moved from? Do the villagers there say anything about that? Do they like you less?
I know about the different field sizes and all, I'm mainly curious about the effect it has on the townspeople, if it has one at all (I hope so.)
Thanks!

2. No, the villagers don't welcome you.
3. Not really, the dialogue doesn't change
4. No, they like you just as much as the other village
5. No, one mentions you leaving except for the mayors. (I think, its been awhile since I've picked up my game).
6. Yes, there are only certain events you can see they are called the festivals.
Anyone can correct me on this.

Before you connect the villages, prices in shops will change when you move. The town you live in will be cheaper. I'm not sure of the details and whether it's all the shops or just the pet shops though.Princess Sabrina wrote:1. Nothing really changes except for festivals.
Their dialogue on festival days does change. If it's a festival in the town you don't live in, they will mention the festival and say it's too bad you can't participate.Princess Sabrina wrote:3. Not really, the dialogue doesn't change
You will have a conversation with your spouse about it. Not sure about the child, I haven't moved since mine's been talking.Princess Sabrina wrote:5. No one mentions you leaving except for the mayors. (I think, its been awhile since I've picked up my game).
