Denny and Lanna

I'm having trouble getting the rival event for Lanna and Denny to trigger. My character is already married so I assume I don't have to worry what heart color I have with Denny. I am already in Year 5 of my game and nothing will happen. I've given them gifts and talk to them as often as I can. Any suggestions?

first of all...what event are you trying to trigger??? what colour heart???
this is a link to the fogu site that tells you what you need for each event...just make sure you have the day/time/place right...

If you're still struggling to see the heart event even after going at the right time, try giving hated gifts to Denny/Lanna (depending on whichever one is the opposite gender to your character) and see if that works.

No luck. Maybe it has to do with the day either Denny or Lanna arrived?
