It's quite possible I'll be getting Twin Villages from Play-Asia
It'll be my first ever game IMPORTED, and it'll give me a chance to practice my Japanese :3 I'd love some start up tips that aren't in Rhea's guide, like how does irrigation work, and if I can court ラズーベリ while I'm living in Konohana, but does it make a difference that my hometown will be Bluebell? I apologize for the questions, and if they're in Rhea's guide just re-point me there, but I've gone over it a few times and didn't notice it at all D':
Also, just an aesthetic question, can it be called aesthetic(?), how many save slots are there? Because I was so excited when I found out I could marry Ariella
- two save slots
- you can court/marry candidates that are living in the opposite village (so yes, you can court Raspberry while living in Konohana). Whatever village you started out in makes no difference in that regard.
Irrigation, or at least creating the rows, can be kind of tricky to get the hang of. The process has been more or less explained in detail in other threads, but those are probably way back in the archives by now. I'll give it a shot.
Tap the A button to use the hoe. While the animation is still playing, begin pressing/holding the directional button in the direction you want your row to go, and immediately tap the A button again; you'll want to keep pressing the directional button and A button until you finish your row. Also, keep in mind that you can also create turns in your irrigation system by changing directions.
It can take some getting used to, so what I recommend doing is saving before you go to bed, practice after you get up, and reload your file (off/on is the only way to do this, I think) once you think you've gotten the hang of it.
So standard save slots(I wish they'd add more T.T so many girls...and sometimes I play girls to play with the outfits xD)
And about the courting, is that only after you have opened the tunnel?
I've been digging around these forums for a while, trying to get a little background info.
The irrigation making seems like the way you can water in GrB without having to lift your finger from the D-pad. I think the hard part will be getting the turns and separation right. I've looked over Kira's garden thread a few times, and her system confuses me with the grid xD;; I think an actual picture would help be better, but I somewhat get it.
You can court people from either village before the tunnel opens. Running over the hill to get to the other town takes a while, but you can shorten the time by riding your horse there, and after you buy the owl you can cut that time in half by climbing the hill and riding your owl the rest of the way.
