One of my chickens has ten hearts, and has won the chicken festival. Occasionally, I get a golden egg from her, but quite rarely. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Shouldn't I be getting golden eggs EVERY day?

No, the winning chicken will randomly lay gold eggs. It isn't 100%, but the more that specific chicken wins, the greater the chance of gold eggs.

How can a chicken win twice? Wouldn't they be dead by the time the next festival rolls around?

Chickens have an average 5 year lifespan in Grand Bazaar.

I don't really like the randomness of it, but I always get so excited seeing a golden egg.

i kinda hate it too cause somewhat i have been waiting for my sheep to get his great wool but i have not seen it in 3 or 4 years .i kinda dont like the randomness either of getting the golden stuff but the stuff that they give you the golden egg, great milk, great wool are somewhat expensive i guess
