I know it's a little early to be asking this especially since it's not going to be released in English anytime soon, but for those who own this, was it worth buying?
Do characters actually have personality in this game?
Are love events/dating romantic?
How're the characters in terms of likeness?
Is switching between villages fun?
How are the festivals?

here's a review from someone who's played 5 years into it. i personally think i might skip this one, which is a big step for me since i've become an incurable harvest moon addict. its like marvelous is just depending on us fans to buy the games and are givving us half « Mr.Gourmet's hat » « Cow Poopoo » now. sorry for the language but these games are just frustrating and disappointing beyond belief! though the graphics are getting prettier =.= i think i might just wait for 3ds. the online one sounds too much like facebook's farmville

ultimate decision is up to you. that's just my thoughts and i think i agree with the reviewer cause it was the exact reason why i hated grand bazaar

Do characters actually have personality in this game?

They have as much personality as the characters from IoH/SI

Are love events/dating romantic?

Love events are nice. Dating is a short cut-scene. You see the characters talking and the guy/girl gives you a short comment about his/her life and about having a nice chat with you

How're the characters in terms of likeness?

They are... fine. Nothing special, but fine.

Is switching between villages fun?

Is having 384575 cooking festivals fun?

How are the festivals?

They are crappy. You can't speak to anyone. You only watch a cut-scene. My fav festival was a Music one, because Michael played songs from the older games.
