I'm kind of wondering if they will take the sunflowers away in a while. It would be odd but I noticed they listed a month long thing on the notice, so I'm not sure.

And hmm... The whole collection item process seems quite confusing. XD Thank you for explaining though. Maybe one day it will be all simple. XD

Yeah, in the News page they said that's the event availed from July 5th to August 2nd. So the Sunflowers and Sunflower decoration Item might remove in shop (the animal will gone too), but I think we still can collect the Sunflower seed as long as someone still keep them in their islands.

And confirmed in the News page also mention that you have higher chance to get seeds with the triple Sunflowers. And you can't raise Grade of Sunflowers (so what is the point to put the number 1000000?).

Actually it just makes me wonder what the point of the single sunflowers is too then. But yeah, I think maybe it was just lazy programming; maybe it is harder to make a new plant that doesn't collect G EXP instead of one that doesn't level up?

So I guess you get a chance of getting the wagon and dog decoration each time you harvest sunflowers? Not totally sure if that's right and I'm not misunderstanding it.

When you harvest Sunflowers, it's drop Sunflowers seeds (it's also drop when you help other people like usual crops too). And you use the Sunflowers seeds + money to trade for the wagon and dog decoration, similar with bear, duck, cow...

The dog decorated need 100 Sunflowers seeds and 15800 G, I'm not care about money, but 100 Sunflowers seeds really take time to collect.

Ack they're limited edition?! I did not realize. Gotta get to farming some sunflowers then.

I totally stopped harvesting my fruit trees some time ago, thinking that there was no use for the money and collection items I would get. I see now I was wrong. ;_;

Same. I'll have to get my sprites to stop with the alpacas and get to growing sunflowers. Thanks for the clarification, DAC!

Also, has anyone else noticed the fence in the catalog looks different (and in my opinion, better) than the one that you get when you place them? D:

The Sunflowers in Regular Shop is need for the Quest (harvest 25 Sunflowers), it have more Profit (base on Farm level, but mine is 428/300 Gold), but it have lower chance to drop Sunflowers Seed.

The Sunflowers in Scarlet's shop have less Profit (mine is 28/20 Gold), and you need exchange some Collection Items. But it have higher chance to drop Sunflowers Seed.

I'm almost out of those candy apples so soon I will have to farm the regular sunflowers instead of Scarlet's. XD Ah well. At least there is plenty of time to gather the seeds needed for the shop.

It seems more random people are helping out islands now too, with the event going on.

It's very close, from start just go Right -> Right -> Right -> Up.
The Instrument Quest is Right -> Right -> Right -> Down -> Right -> Right -> Right.

Hm~ I'm not think it's good idea to plant the regular Sunflowers, it's waste too much time (the drop rate is really low), it'll better to find some island with a bunch of triple Sunflowers. I just plant 30 regular Sunflowers (25 for Quest) and 25 triple Sunflowers (20 to collect seed). Other seeds I collected from other islands.

And ask your friends plant the triple Sunflowers but not harvest them (you do same, leave some triple Sunflowers on your island so your friends can come and collect seeds).

Anyway, can anyone have a English name for the triple Sunflowers? The Japanese is りっぱなヒマワリ, via Google, the ヒマワリ mean Sunflowers and りっぱな have several meaning:

1-Venerable
2-Fine
3-Exemplary
4-Honorable

The thing is りっぱな is an adjective, not a name. So really calling them Exemplary Sunflowers or Ideal Sunflowers is all you can do.

Oh hey guys! The % chance for trading alpacas to llamas is higher than it is for other animals. For two level 3 alpacas, it is a 29% chance of getting a llama. I am working on raising my others to level 6 so we can see what the difference it but it will be a while, sorry. But I am thinking that it might be worth it to just raise them to level 3 only.

By the way, Nakayliahen, you said that you are on the instrument quest right now, correct? I know of some islands with lots of tree stumps!
First is 193/207 (Mikado).

Another: 294/-303. the name is japanese and I don't know the kanji but it ends in くりいむ

Another tree stump one: -22/-248 (かみう)

I'll try to leave some obvious ones on my farm too once they grow in a spot that is out of the way. Is there a particular size you are working on atm or just any size is good?

I found an island FULL of Exemplary Sunflowers! Name is ootokage, coordinates are 295/273

I also have bookmarked several sunflower islands, which I think you can see when you visit mine?

Edit: Also, I have been on alpaca trading spree so I noticed:
2 Level 3 alpacas= 29% chance of a llama
Level 4= 32%
Level 5= 35%

BUT here is the weird thing. When i ran out of Level 3 alpacas I traded 5 level 5s, and the chance was 40%! So at least for alpacas now if you raise both animals up the chance goes up.

So honestly, I don't think it's worth it to raise them past level 3 given the time it takes.
