Also I wish they would let us earn Min Boxes or Star Points, and just make it hard. It's actually a good business model to do that, because a lot of people would work for a couple Min Boxes and then buy some once they got tired of it...

I think it goes until the 2nd of next month, and remember that Japan is several hours ahead of the US (assuming you live in the US) so I would make sure you get the 300 before the first, personally. But I agree; it's REALLY cruel. I think they did it to push for the SP sunflowers. I guess I'm going to be cranking out sunflowers now.

Hm~ I'm not really like the flower Alpaca because I don't like black color, I was hope it's yellow or orange color...

I've been having a really hard time since the upgrade... I think a loooooot of people are trying to get them so almost every farm I go to has been helped already. It drives me nuts when I get to a farm and see the sprites farming carrots or something random!! Especially if I see that they have sunflower items, which means they're definitely doing the promotion. >_> Such a waste.

I don't even want the alpaca really, I just wanted another Sheltie dog and maybe a duck. u_u

I honestly am wondering if they lowered the drop rate on the Single/Exemplary Sunflowers, too. I can't seem to get seeds from them anymore and I'm really getting paranoid. Not to mention just finding islands with unhelped flowers is hard/dull. I've been helping out apple/blueberry trees to get my collection items up so I can plant more of my own lol.

Honesty, why don't you spent about 5 hours, to plant 10 Apple trees and 10 blueberry trees instead 20 Sunflowers (split two team, 10 to plant trees, the rest sprites can plant Sunflowers), it's more important to raise the apple level so you can collect easier. If your Grade Level too low, it's waste to collect by help.

Well, sometime the drop rate of everything drop down (for personal, not like everyone rate is same in same day), like yesterday I help a bunch people but only get a few collection Item, but today it's drop like crazy (I'm even get the Alpaca Vest already). Some day I help about 20 Exemplary Sunflowers in straight but not get a single Sunflowers Seeds, but some day I get straight 3 Sunflowers Seeds too.

By the way, I got Collar and Shoes from Bull dog already, look like it's same like Toy Po-something (I can't remember it name). Keep your eyes to see if the Toy dog drop Shoes or not (so far I never get Shoes from it), and Coins from Bull too.

Dac, the name is Toy Poodle, if you wanted a reminder.

(A Toy Poodle is just a small breed of poodle.) Glad to hear it seems like it's a normal dog in terms of drop items though.

Also, does anyone know if you can delete animals? I had a quest telling me to buy 5 more cows, so I did, but my farm feels too crowded now so I want to delete some. But the bucket apparently doesn't let you store animals unless they are Level 3. Any ideas? Otherwise after this event I may end up brushing cows to level 3 just to hide them away...

That's not a bad idea on the trees though. My drop rates for them seem pretty good though. I'm Level 5 and Level 6 for Apples and Blueberries, so not great but not bad considering my highest level on anything is 7 for Alpacas.

You should be able to store animals of any level, as long as they're ready to be harvested. I had to put a lot of level 2 animals in storage to make room for the sunflowers. Once they're in storage, the red button should get rid of them, though I've never used it.

Unrelated: The new farm layout (the clovers) is SO NEAT. And I love the waterfall too. >_< Wannnt.

There's no way I can get the 300 seeds necessary for the black sunflower alpaca

I just got the dog last week and I still have 15 more to go before I can get the duck.

I tried the 10SP sun flowers but they're only a little better. Out of the 8 mega-sunflowers I harvested, I got 5 seeds. It's not really worth paying the 10 Star Points for.

The background music for the clover carpet is unfamiliar to me... the last two were normal HM song remixes, but I have no idea what this new one is.

Hmm. Interesting to note about the sunflowers. I think I'm going to buy some SP, and because I'm having trouble getting more blueberries/apple collection items, I may use those... or I may just take DAC's advice and plant more trees. Cher, is there anything in particular you think is worth SP more than others? Like the treasure chest vs trade candies, etc.

Thanks for the info on the storage, Sito! I keep forgetting they have to be ready to harvest to put them away.

The clover patch is nice! I think the music is new, but I have no idea where it would be from if not.

I'm trying to organize my farm to fit more crop space in, but having a bit of trouble. Do you guys think there is a minimum number of crops people should keep around for a variety to be helped to be polite? (Like having 5 carrots on your farm at all times or something.)

And finally, there are 5 island types, right? The default/first one, the cherry blossom one, the clovers, the beach, and the snow. Any others? And they are all from the treasure chest (except the default).

Buying SP just to plant mega sunflower seems ridiculous, not to mention the amount of money that have to be sacrificed. 3 mega sunflowers give about 1-2 seeds, so you need hundreds of sunflowers and SP.

There isn't really anything that says you need to keep certain number of X in your farm, but I think it's good to have 5-10 each. As for me, I have about 10 each, but I might cut them to 5-6 if they keep adding new animals.

And yes, there are 5 island types like you've mentioned.

Not really. I mainly use Star Points to get the minbox items. I just happen to have some left over to throw at the mega-sunflowers to see what they were like.

The point to buy Solar Sunflowers not to harvest and collect Sunflower Seeds but to attract people come to your farm. For example, when you have about 5-10 Solar Sunflowers and leave them in your farm, and if people visit they might bookmark you (or remember your location), with hope that tomorrow they comeback and have some left need to help.

So even if next day they visit but all Solar Sunflowers get helped already, they still help other things in your farm.
