I'm not surprise at all.
But too bad, I was hope they have at least the Capybara decorate but they didn't...
But I still hope that I can get the Decorated Mouse Grade Lv10 in time. I was right to buy 100 Mouses.
I have updated information already: http://fogu.com/hmforum/viewtopic.php?f ... 1&start=15

Hello. This is my first post. I sometimes read this site and thought I'd post this.
I noticed some people were wondering if they're planning to add the squirrels and capybaras to the animal exchange shop, so I thought I'd put this out there, for whatever it's worth.
I guess maybe no one has noticed this (I didn't at first, either) or didn't read the Japanese, but if you place your mouse cursor over the animals and items in the MinBox (Treasure Box), you'll see that some of them have [みんボックス限定] or "MinBox Only" written at the bottom of the description box. The alternate color Rank 3 animals (Capybara and Pony) all have it, as do the decoration items. But the alternate color Rank 1 and Rank 2 animals (Mouse, Squirrel, Horse, and Donkey) do not. This means that the Rank 1 and Rank 2 animals are not "MinBox Only," meaning that there's a pretty good chance they're going to add them later on (I believe). They might just be waiting until after the Halloween Event is over or until after the next MinBox renewal. But it looks (to me, at least) that they're definitely planning to add them. (Sorry if I get anyone's hopes up if it turns out to be wrong... A few people seemed upset/discouraged about the possibility they might not add them, so I thought I'd chime in.)
Unfortunately, I remember checking the cats in the last MinBox, and they ALL had the [みんボックス限定] disclaimer, even the white Rank 1 ネコ cat that I presume would be the "standard Rank 1 cat." I'm guessing that that means they do not plan to add the cats later on. There's still a chance they may do so, but the "standard Rank 1 cat" would probably be a different color. They may offer a cat as a promotion sometime, too. Who knows? I guess the cat was a way for them to make money and offer a ご褒美(gohoubi) or little present for people who buy SP, too. (Maybe?)
Anyway, sorry to pipe in here. Hope this helps someone, at least!
I don't know if I'll post again, but I wish you all good luck with your farms!
Here's hoping they add the squirrels and capybaras soon!!
(Sorry for the long message...)

Ohhh, no I had never noticed that! Thanks, that is reassuring because I want skwerlz (squirrels) baaaaad.
DAC maybe they will add a Halloween Capybara halfway through like they did with alpacas during the summer!
Incidentally I only just recently realized that it's probably called "min"box because the game is "Min"na de Bokujou Monogatari. Maybe everyone already knew that...

Hi All,
I am Joren and my island is at 429, -70.
I've been playing for a few weeks now and I feel like I understand most of what's going on but lately things have become much more of a grind and I'm confused about a few things.
For instance is there a quest map besides the in game map? I can't find how to unlock the scarlet shop and I'm not sure which branches to prioritize.
How does working on someone's island work? How many times can I do it? Is it per island or a total that I can do per day? Does it give me special items or does it just help other people out?
Is there any simple way to get through the instrument quest? I've been cutting down trees like crazy and still have made almost no progress.
Also what's the deal with the treasure chest? Do you exchange RL money for items?
Sorry for all the questions but I can't figure it out.

The quests have numbers in the lower left corner. Use those to see which ones to prioritize in this order:Joren wrote:For instance is there a quest map besides the in game map? I can't find how to unlock the scarlet shop and I'm not sure which branches to prioritize.
0001 --> 0002 --> 0003 --> 0004 --> 0006 --> 0112 --> 0008 --> 0010 --> 0012 --> 0013 --> 0014 --> 0015 --> 0018 --> 0022 --> 0040 --> 0049 --> 0043 --> 0045 --> 0050 --> 0057 --> 0062 --> 0072 --> 10082 --> 20110 --> 20166
3x/day/island for all players, 5x/day/island for friends. You can see how many helps you have left in the lower left corner; they're little watering can icons. You can get collection items by helping AND it helps people out. Win/win! Btw, each animal can only be helped 1x/day.Joren wrote:How does working on someone's island work? How many times can I do it? It's a slow quest. Try traveling to some low-level islands on the map; generally anything under level 10 will have a lot of small trees.Joren wrote:Is there any simple way to get through the instrument quest? I've been cutting down trees like crazy and still have made almost no progress.
Yes. It's 300yen per try, and the items/animals you get are random. The stars underneath tell you the rarity.Joren wrote:Also what's the deal with the treasure chest? Do you exchange RL money for items?
When you help other island, it'll turn blue and two things may happen:
1- If the owner click the blue objects (execute) before harvest time, it'll process faster 10%. For example, the Cosmo require 96 hours to harvest, so the time shorter 9 hours 36 minutes.
+ If time remain 59 hours 36 minutes → Become 50 hours remain after help execute.
+ If time remain less than 9 hours 36 minutes → Can harvest after help execute.
2- If the owner click the blue objects (execute) at harvest time, that object drop more easier.
You can help 3 times each island (or 5 times if that's your friend), each object just can get one help per day and it's reset at 5 AM (Japan time). If the owner execute his/her helped objects, they still blue if you visit the island on that day, and it only turn normal after 5 AM next day. If the owner not execute his/her helped object, they'll remain blue after 5 AM next day.
You have chance to get Drop Item (Collection Item) when you help other, depend the object you helped and your Grade Level (each crop, fruit tree, animal have their own Grade Level, they Level Up when you reach require time harvest).
The tree, rock drop rate is different (because they don't have Grade Level). The full tree/rock drop rate very low, but the chopped/smashed tree/rock drop easier. For the Instrument Quest:
1- On your farm, wait until someone help your tree, execute the help and start chop it, it'll drop easier.
2- On other islands, find the trees that get chopped (the best is stump) and click them.
I figure out this since I spent 2-3 hours to help hundreds (serious it's hundreds) full tree but can't even get one Drop Item, but when my friends chop the trees, I ask them leave a few stumps and since then I get Drop Item from them each 10-20 times help.
