i think i read somewhere that they can get jelaus if you date all the bachelors at once, is this true?

Yes. If the a bachelor/ette has high number of LP (many flowers) they will get jealous. If you date some other guys 4 times a row, the jealous girl/guy will get mad with you. If you apologize to them, they will forgive you.
