I'm just get my copy of TV a weeks ago. At first, i didn't plan to get this since i know no Japanese at all but after reading througt this forum and the marvelous homesite, i couldn't wait for the Eng ver with TBA release date anymore. This game cost me quite a bit and since i don't know Japanese, there are something on the game i don't understand and something are just curios, so i had some questions and hope someone can answers them for me. Thanks a lot. (By the ways, i'm living on konohana and currenly on 17 sum, 1st year)
1. Is there a way to increse the dialog speed ?(instanly appear text, for exp). It's not too slow but i tired to keep pressing the B button. Holding the L is enougn for my old DS.
2. When you accept a quest, can you cancel it? And not doing quest (beside the red one) had any affect on the gameplay? It's quite hard to find the items (i mean what item they need since i don't know jap)
3. There are some area on the mountain (on the blueberry site) i couldn't reach or find a way. Do it unlock later or i missing something?
4. Do you need to treat your horse every day? I can't find it love bar and more important, i can't find the horse treat either. The shop stop selling them after i buy a dog. Now my horse don't eat anything for a week
5. The dog i buy won't take out, even one cow, to the playground. Do it need training first?
4. Do you need to fully upgrade you house to married or to have kid? ( the upgrading quest so costly. I'm current have about 50000 and that quest need 1 milion)
5. I hear you can only have one kid. Is it true? And if that true, can you chose the gender of it? (By keep loading on the day the kid born like GB or it chosen from the time your wife pernant?)
6. Is there any rival marrige on this game? I know the are "rival couple" like Lia/Kamil or Kiriku/Rawsberry by reading the forum so far
Hope someone can answer them for me. Sorry for my English. I'm not a native English speaker

I don't have the game, but I think I have some answers.
1. usally on games you can press the B botton.
2. You can't cancel it, but you will not get any punishment for not completing it. I think it pops up later in the game.
4. You don't need to feed your horse every day, but it's pretty hard to get it's affection up.
5. Is it large or small? It might be the kind that herds sheep and alpaca

I don't know of any options screen anywhere in the game. I just press B to speed it up.leanhtuan105 wrote:1. Is there a way to increse the dialog speed ?(instanly appear text, for exp). It's not too slow but i tired to keep pressing the S button. Holding the L is enougn for my old DS.
I don't think there is a way to cancel quests. But as Maze-la said, there is no penalty for failing any quest, of any color. I suggest that you refer to this page to figure out the requested items. You can look up what the letters spell out and then look them up here. Keep in mind that page 1 of the quest is the description, page 2 is the WANTED items, and page 3 is the reward.leanhtuan105 wrote:2. When you accept a quest, can you cancel it? Yes you will unlock them later. I'm not sure of the requirements, but you will activate them by walking through the mountain. I suggest you make a habit of NOT riding your horse once in a while when you need to go over the mountain, since those events won't activate if you're on your horse.leanhtuan105 wrote:3. Feeding the horse serves no purpose. You're right, it has no heart meter. It also doesn't participate in the animal festival, so befriending it has no advantages. Finally, you will trade in your horse later for stronger ones, so all your work would be lost. I suggest you save your money and stop buying the horse treats unless you want to give them to Kirik.leanhtuan105 wrote:4. Do you need to treat your horse every day? You can buy a rubber bone to play fetch with it. If you do that for a few hours each day, you should see results pretty quickly. As Maze-la said, the St. Bernard dog is the one that herds cows, so make sure you buy one of those.leanhtuan105 wrote:5. The dog i buy won't take out, even one cow, to the playground. Not to be married, but to have a child, yes.leanhtuan105 wrote:4. Do you need to fully upgrade you house to married or to have kid? ( the upgrading quest so costly. I'm current have about 50000 and that quest need 1 milion)
Yep, just one kid, I have heard mixed results from people attempting to change the gender. Wouldn't hurt to try reloading. Let us know how it turns out.leanhtuan105 wrote:5. No, they don't get married. They just have one rival event.leanhtuan105 wrote:6. Is there any rival marrige on this game? I know the are "rival couple" like Lia/Kamil or Kiriku/Rawsberry by reading the forum so far

For a boy, look for "男" and for a girl look for "女". I think it may be Chihiro who says it. (According to the site I looked at, he's present for the birth?? I didn't know that since I'm married to him... Kinda odd.)
Quinnelle, if you go to your bookshelf and find out the name of your child, I will try to figure out if it's a girl's or boy's name for you. I don't see any other way of checking the gender, aside from waiting til it grows up.
