You mean make it in a pattern? Like a cow or something? Well, I've never done or even thought about that. But I know the basics.

I would use Stone. Wood tends to rot.

You can't fence your horse in, it always gets out somehow.

X: Stone Lumber
O: Open space to keep animals.
G: Grass for feeding
