Well, Grand Bazaar is definitely a step up from SI in certain areas.
No irritating fatigue bar, and the time system, (even though time moves while you are inside) 1 minute=second is nice because you have so much more time to get your chores done, socialize with the villagers, take a leisurely stroll, etc.

While I really do love Sunshine Islands, I feel like I have a much stricter schedule than in GB.

Anywho, i'm finding the shop aspect of it to be pretty fun as well. No hurt in experimenting with the HM formula.

I like them both for different aspects; I like that GB had a more calming feel to it, but sometimes it was too calm and boring that I found myself distracted. But I like the new aspects that there are in it, like tha pets for example; it's a new thing in the Harvest Moon world (as they actually do something helpful).

But as much as I liked Grand Bazaar, I loved Sunshine Islands because of the difficulty, and it kept me playing a lot longer than I did in Grand Bazaar. I played that game to year 3, and I'm no where close to do yet in Grand Bazaar, I found myself bored by the end of year 2. I think people found it too difficult because there was too much to do, and instead of taking things one at a time they attempted everything at once, and that would certainly make it more difficult.

I think I like SI better. The characters are friendlier and I sorta liked the 'keep track of sun/water points and be super-organized.' GB however, looks better, more relaxing and easier. I've been playing Grand Bazaar for a while and now I find that whenever I go back to SI, I'm so use to GB (being so easy and all) I pass out or forget to feed my animals.
