Marriage to Vaughn

Hey there, i have a question?
I have Vaughn at a red heart but he wont except my feather, and i only experienced o\one yellow heart event? Do i need to experience all of them in order to marry?

Is your house expanded as much as you can get it right now? Do you have the Husband's Bed? Have you unlocked all of the main villagers (as a shortcut, has Mark shown up)?

Well, you need all the main characters on the island (the ones with faces, the tourists dont count) even the rivals, you need your house to be at the maximum size avaliable, you need to buy the husbands bed and then he'll accept your proposal.
