I didn't think there were too many girls, but I think the rival system would be awesome. Then you'd feel like you were actually accomplishing something. :D

Just a question about the RFO characters... Do any of them get married to anyone else? Kind of like in RF2 or some of the HM games?

No, Oceans does not have a rival marriage feature either. Only RF2 did. Besides there are only three guys (not including Azel since he is playable) so that would be pretty unfair for the rest of the girls on the island

(there would be six rivalless girls, not counting Sonia.) At least in RF2 only two girls ever had to stay single.

You know Harvest Moon didn't have rival marriages in the last three HM games released (GrB, HoLV, and TT). So maybe they rival thing just isn't happening anymore.

No there are more than three guys. Four marriageable guys, James, Joe, Bismarck, and Azel and then a few villagers. A priest that thinks Azel is cute, a little boy, and Joe's dad. That's it

. Which means we are down to only three eligible rivals, four if you count Azel. But I don't know how that would work since he is a MC.

Well HoLV had rival couples and events but no rival marriage, in GrB there were rival couples and rival scenes with no rival marriage. TT is very similar to GrB and there aren't even official rivals anymore. So it seems like they are just slowly moving away from the rival feature with each new game. But hey maybe next time

Other than RF2, Rune Factory doesn't have a rival system at all. xD It's like all these women are at your disposal. Take your time.

I don't think they'll be too worried about including it if they haven't yet.. Even though it'd be nice.

Yep. Every RF game has a de Saint-Coquille marriage candidate.

RF1- Bianca, RF2-Rosalind, RFF-Bianca (again), RF3-Sofia, RFO-Electra. It's a big family I suppose

They will probably change Iris's name in the English version. Because in RFF there were two girls named Iris
