That sounds cool. You normally upgrade a sword you already have into a better one. So I don't see why they couldn't do it that way. Well besides the fact that it adds much more work to the game makers .
Well, with the amount of weapons already in the game, they could easily just take some named ones and remove them from normal recipes. Then, you have to acquire said weapon and you get the recipe to reforge it. Which would probably requires a lot of materials.
Sure, it add work, but it doesn't requires that much more. The biggest part is the weapon acquisions. That could be longer to add.
But considering it's on Wii and PS3, DLC could happen!
I guess it's just another one of those maybe next time things. But that's not bad. At least there is always something to look forward to. If a game was perfect then everything after wouldn't matter as much.

I've never played that game before... I've had quite a few games that I've played that I thought were nearly perfect for what they were supposed to be.
Dude I made a pact with Magic and Kiko to not play any RF games until RFO gets an English release date. And then me and them are gonna do an RF marathon . Hmm maybe I'll make a topic about it so we can discuss what we're doing in our games during the marathon.
It's hard to do when you spend all your time talking in the RF forum section X). Why are you gonna stop playing?
