Multiplayer

How would you contact someone if you want to do multi-player? I'm in my first year of fall and wouldn't mind playing with others but what is there to do when you join?
You could message people with friend codes in their signatures (like me), say you've added them and set up a meeting time; or you could post in the stickied friend code topic, or add people using the numbers in their posts (message them to tell them so).
You basically run around the town together, you can farm but there aren't any animals to watch. The dialogue is different from the normal day talk for the other villagers.There is also a chat option, so you can talk while playing. It can get boring, but it's sometimes amusing.
