Starting a brand new game and I want to do it right! Advice?

I suggest raising Islands ASAP and keeping an organize checklist of Sunstones.

Other than that, develop a daily routine of Talking/Gifting (Gelatin is one of the best!), and making the most out of each day. Like only sleeping at 6PM and spending the rest of the time Fishing/Mining after your daily chores are done.

Dont forget to Use/Befriend the Harvest Sprites (i always forget them).

So let me great this straight, it s best to befriend the sprites and not the villagers?
I am thinking I need to restart the game...that's what I been doing the whole time to get sun stones. But I didn't know if you didn't talk to them, they don't take gifts.

Befriend the sprites so you get more s̶l̶a̶v̶e̶s helpers and get the 5-gift sunstones from the villages then slowly work on the household FP sunstones.
Also try not to bump topics older that 10 days.
