IoH Recovery Help

Hey guys,

I was saving my HM game on my DS Lite this morning and my DS went out of battery half way through the save and when i turned it on to load the game after, the save was renamed: 'Data Corrupted'

Anybody have any info on whether this save can be salvaged or is it a goner forever? I really hope someone can help me with this!!

I was in year 3 of my farming life and its such a pity!!

I don't know if IoH keeps a backup save so try loading the corrupt save, if that don't work then you'll have to start again unfortunately.

I think it will be forever corrupted, unless you get really lucky. I know how it feels, I've lost way too many save files on Harvest Moon games :/

I'm afraid that if the battery went out while saving, then it is the same as turning the power off during a save, which cause the data to become half written and confused, so corrupts. And as far as i know you really can't get it back. Sorry, but that's how data saves work, it's just really unlucky it happened just as you were saving.
