Next Harvest Moon game?!
Whoo! I was thinking (though it may be complicated) as you collect the rainbow drops your outfit can get color added to it. When you arrive and meet the whoever is the ruler of the land they give you an outfit that helps track your progress or something.
But I'll draw something and see how it comes out :D

I finished the girl default. Sorry the image is so big x.x

I had this idea with the default. In the beginning, you can set your gender and birthday. But in Rainbow, you can set what color your outfit, hair, and eyes are. In the beginning of the game, you are asked what your favorite color is: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, black, white, pink, and brown. Whichever color you choose, that is your outfit, hair, and eye color. But since we had the idea of each bachelor/bachelorette has their own color, the color you select, that bachelor/bachelorette is not available in your game. So if you choose red, the red bachelor/bachelorette is not available for marriage.
I've never seen a default character with braids so I jazzed her up and gave her braids. I also gave her a more loli-styled outfit with lots of lace and a few frills cause she was originially Miss Black, and when I think girl in black, I think gothic loli or emo girl. So I went loli.
I'll work on the boy later :D

...Yeah we got off topic here.
BACKTRACKING!
The first harvest moon game I remember playing was ANWL. I loved that game. It was the first game that kept me occupied and focused for more than 20 minutes. I don't quite remember what kept me like that, but it fascinated me. I always hated having to get off.
Personally, I don't mind the plots and stuff. Those I can handle. But with AP I feel like if I play for too long, I'll get bored and never play it again. MM was pretty good ( aside from the whole building thing :/) because it always had a challenge. The fact that Jamie was the rival farmer and you had to beat him always kept me playing.
If it had a set time, I would not buy it. I hate the idea of being rushed just so I can have more time to play. I love the fact that you can take as much time as you want to finish the main plot and then work to get marred and have children and expand your farm without having to worry about your game suddenly ending ;/

I think that our animals should poo. Honestly, I have been always wondering why the animals and pets don't poo/pee. They are the living beings after all. Their poo would be used as fertilizer
I also think that the houses of married rival couples should be changed after their wedding (every couple wants to have own place to making love
) or maybe they should build their own house (if they lived with parents/grandparents before). This would be interesting.

I would love having a plough to plow the field. New plants and animals would also be good addition.
Bring back the ostriches and an improved real bee farming, not the lame one in TV.
I like Fretka's idea for quails farming. I'd also like to have peacock and peahen (feather and possibly eggs?), camel (milk and fur), llama (fur), bull and ox (plowing field), and donkey (ride).
I also like if the main character and villagers have sickness and we can make medicine out of medicinal herb to cure and be shipped; such as eucalyptus, ginkgo, ginger, ginseng, cinnamon, etc.
Being a farmer and a doctor at the same time should be fun.

Not me. Getting married, having a kid, waiting for him/her to grow up, and collecting all that stuff is not worth it in my opinion. I'd rather just start all over anyways. I'd feel like I was cheating with such a head startKameko Suigami wrote:I'm fine with any perks, really. I just like the New Game+ because it keeps me playing longer than I otherwise would, then lets me start over without feeling guilty.

It would be really interesting to have something new in New Game+ file other than carrying stuffs to the new game. I want they make it like second generation in RF2, only they are able to marry the bachelor/ette and not pretend-to-be. It would be awkward to see your "child" marries to the bachelor/ette who have the exact same face to the previous generation. They should make it like marrying the rival children.Googaboga wrote:Not me. The only time I would ever use New Game + would be if there was something I could only get from using New Game+.
Beside courting system, I would like to see more interesting plot. GB has no plot whatsoever although the game is quite decent imho with new features such as windmill and bazaar. But, there is no goal to be achieved once you married and have a child. M/FoMT is quite better since they have unlockable cottages, although it is not really worth it (playing to 50th wedding anniversary is insane as I don't have all time in the world).
