I wonder when they are going to make the next HM Game?!

It's a new Year! I'm glad that Rune Factory Oceans is coming, but thats RF!!!! WHERE'S OUR NEXT HM GAME!!!!

me? Harvest Moon RAINBOW

Harvest Moon 3DS is the only title that's been floating around and there is no further information. Just that it's on the line-up and doesn't intend to be a 3ds launch title. It's a good thing they are taking their time developing the new game anyway instead of flooding the market with 3.

To be honest I hope it's a while.

I feel like they're whipping them out wayyyy too fast. Every year I have some new HM game on my Christmas list, if not two. I'm glad the RF games are sort of taking a while (about a year and a half I think between releases) so they're able to spend plenty of time on those but I feel like if they spent more time on the games to create great characters etc, the games would be more enjoyable.

Besides, there's so many HM games out there and I'd be quite fine if they slowed down. I'd be more appreciative of the new games instead of "oh. yay. another HM game to play. I think I just played one six months ago."

Harvest Moon Rainbow sounds perfect. Each of the marriage candidates could be a different color of the Rainbow and you could live in a world made of clouds .

I can see it now. The plot would be to bring Rainbow Happiness to all the world by rescuing the Rainbow Goddess and filling up the now-empty Goddess Pond with rainbow colored rain drops. How do you collect these rainbow rain drops? Well the same way you got Harvest Sprites and Sunstones of course. It's so original!

I am going to marry the bachelor Indigo. He's totally cool apparently since I just decided he would be .

(My gosh I put way to much work into that joke. But it actually started to sound like the recent Harvest Moon games XD)

I think one of the recent games actually DID do something with rainbows. XD But I don't think there was a Bachelor Indigo, hahaha.

Maybe in HM: Rainbow, you could play as Red, marry Miss Blue, and have purple children.

Oh oh! I will be Miss White and marry Mr. Red so I can have PINK babies!

The main Playable guy is Mr. White and the Playable girl is Miss Black. And of course the opposite gender you didn't pick to play as would become a marriage candidate cause there always needs to be more marriage candidates.

Miss Blue, Sister Orange, Madam Purple, Miss Black, and Rainbow Goddess are the Bachelorettes.

Mr. Red, Green, Sir Indigo, Bro Yellow, and Mr. White are the bachelors.

And your babies are always Rainbow of course. No matter who you marry XD.

And the mayor of town has big a mustache made of clouds and lighting.

That sounds like it would totally be the next console HM game.

And why shouldn't it be? This sounds like the best Harvest Moon evah. Did I mention all your animals had wings? Flying cows and sheep. And chickens, well they just have two sets of wings now. Here is the quality levels for animal products: Basic, Pretty, Beautiful, (and what else) Rainbow!

And they should include all the previous bachelor/ettes to marry too, and you can have 4 kids, 100 outfits, one day lasts 2 hours irl, can sit in chairs, can go on dates after marriage, money will be practically given to you, the characters call you by japanese honorifics, and you can have ears and tails of a few animals like wolves, foxes, racoons, etc. And you can turn into said animal to run faster!

Money doesn't exist in HM: Rainbow silly billy. Everybody is so nice things are just given away for free because you deserve it.

And of course all the Bachelors/Bachelorettes have ears and tails. Each is a different animal, like Mr. Red he has fox ears/tail. But you as the main character can change your ears/tails just like outfits (there is at least a few dozen different outfits and ears/tails to collect and they come in different colors. But it is extremely easy to get them all). And they do give you special abilities too. Like the Bunny ears/tail lets you triple jump instead of just the normal double jump.

And not only can you go on dates while courting and after marriage. you can go on dates with people besides your spouse once you are married. He/She doesn't mind. Divorce is also an option. And so is remarriage. And so is going back remarrying the person you divorced. That way you and your Seven children can go back to their real mother/father after you've married around as many times as you felt like it.

But unfortunately the game does not have previous characters so it sucks :/.

But seriously this seems like the way HM games are headed. ;__;

You know what would be kind of awesome? An HM game where you have a night job as a ninja-pirate-cowboy. It could be called Harvest Moon: Badass Edition.

Either that, or they could make a version of HM64 with MrFailGame's interpretation of the characters.
