Which weapon type do YOU use?

I play Monster Hunter so I know that power can replace speed easily if you know how to use it. So I actually like them slow and powerful.

I like the sword/axe... thing.. It's so sexy.. Mmmmhm. They should put transforming weapons in Rune Factory

I love using the lance, GS, and SNS myself. xD The switch axe is pretty coo though.

In RF though, the weapon's only differences are speed and damage, isn't it? There's no like.. "This weapon is better against _____ than this weapon."

Nah, there are weapons that generally work better than others.
Such as in the first RF the shortsword is soooo overly powered there really is no point to use anything else. And in MH there are still tiers based on how much damage one can do with the weapons.

But when it all gets down to it, Skill > Weapon. But the gap of which you'd need to fill to make up for it depends. But the thing about RF is, it's sooo easy that it really doesn't matter with RF2 and on. Go with what you have fun with.

Yeah... I know what you mean. In RFF ALL I used was the Sickle. I never had a single problem with any enemies. Evar. It's really easy. Of course, I never finished the game.. So maybe there'd be really hard enemies later on, but as far as I got, it was pretty simple.

Are you kidding? We spear wielders can be deadly on foot and on top of horses too! Meanwhile your farm tools are unorthodox. Frying pans are better if you have to go mundane!

Not to mention it's a really balanced weapon that even women can master. Spears are teh kewlness.

Oh Lexy, my ally! Thank you for your support! ( I enjoy other weapons as well because my most favorite part in RF are the battles; but for some reason, I feel that I am most skillful with spears. The other weapons are swell but... :D yeah.)

Dual wielding is very sloppy and unrealistic irl.
But since it's RF, uh I guess it's alright.

Spears, axes, hammers, swords, poleaxes, Shoes, magic, Scythes, and whatever Kratos uses are all kewl with me. Sticks are cool too, cause like Lucas totally pimps them out.

Yeah it's pretty unrealistic, but still sexy but you raise a valid point... The stick is one of the oldest and most dangerous weapons. I can't believe I forgot about it!

Only dual wielding would be more practical.

Cha' sticks, yoyo's, baseball bats, and frying pans are the kinds of mundane weapons! Though I have to admit I am partial to the rolling pin too~ Milk moltovs would be freaking cool too! /Iamthemilkmanmymilkisdelicious
