Many detailed questions

Hello!! I have many questions:
1. What's better to have in animals?? More sheeps or more cows??
(According to the calculation, sheep gives more income)
2. Why do people suggest the players not to stack different value items??
(The guide says that the sell price is determined by the dots [quality, size, freshness], so why stacking is bad??)
3. How long do you guys take to pass one day??
Thanks people for replying
I'm one of the Harvest Moon Big Fan!! And has been playing ever since it was first made, from GB version Harvest Moon!!
Some slightly detailed answers

Almost all sheep with 1-2 token cows for recipes/gifts. Sheep are easier to look after too because you only need to harvest them every 3 days.

Apparently you lose a bit of the value of the items when you stack them. It's probably only noticeable with large amounts of goods or expensive ones so feel free to stack the cheep stuff.

As an estimate, 5-8 minutes.

I think the dots average out, so for example, if you had two Eggs, both rank A, but one had 10 freshness and the other had 6, you would end up with a stack of two Eggs with 8 freshness. Something like that... I think. That would lower the value of the 10 freshness one, though raise the 6 freshness one, but if you had 10 Eggs with 6 freshness and only 2 Eggs with 10 freshness, you would ultimately lose some of your potential profit.

I personally like to have an even ratio of cows to sheep, but if my cows died, I would have repaced them with sheep.
I usually just ship every time I see a shipping bin, so no stacking is needed! Its easier, plus no "should I stack or not?" hassel!
Depends on what day! Festivals take less, as they time jump, and each day varies, so I couldn't tell you! :D
