Alpacas are unlocked in fall of year two, as far as I know it doesn't matter in which village you live at that time. (Though if you live in Konohana you'll probably have to pay a higher prize for them as the Bluebell animal shop sells them).gentlegirlfarmer1228 wrote:Can you only have Alpacas in Bluebell?

Actually, maybe you won't have to pay more, cause I just read that once the villages are at full friendship level/united again, the prizes aren't higher in the opposite village anymore. I'm currently in Winter of year 1, and have the villages at 7 of 10 hearts, and didn't even take part in all cooking festivals (had a lack of ingredients XD), nor did I win all I took part in, so there's a fair chance that in fall of year 2 one already has them united.gentlegirlfarmer1228 wrote:That sucks.Kittyfarmer wrote:Alpacas are unlocked in fall of year two, as far as I know it doesn't matter in which village you live at that time. Hmm... I can't really say that. If you are going to live in Bluebell, you will get your first cow and chicken on the start + brush, milker and food. Everything for free! You can make the money way faster than in Konohana.BlueButterfly wrote:Even though I love bluebell, I'm going to move to Konohana first, because it's much easier to make money with crops. But once I get enough money, I'm out of there. I love animals, and crops bug me.

Is it really that much simpler to start out in Bluebell? I've made trial files in both towns before deciding where I'll start after all, and in neither I had real problems making money, and after around the first month I had roughly the same amount.Fretka wrote:Hmm... In Konohana it just takes up only in the second half of the month, cause one needs to spend pretty much all money one gets in the first half. But then, if you also buy a cow there, you'll get the money of both the crops AND the milk by the end of the month. And milker and brush you'll get for free when buying the first cow there, too.
