Might it be a glitch in my game?

I have 2 Questions...
Question 1: i'm at the end of year 4 and married to the witch princess, the rival heart events doesn't occur i have all the requirements to activate the rival heart events, Elliot and julia got married few weeks ago, but pierre and natalie, denny and lanna's rival heart events stopped after the blue heart event, Vaughn and sabrina's rival heart events stopped after the green event.
Question 2: Since it's winter in my game, i can't get colorful grasses other than white grass and black grass, i plant toadstools in my ranch but they didn't reach their final stage so i can pick them up, i gave the witch princess white grass,and the next day when i try to give her another white grass she doesn't accept it, i know i have to talk to her for few days, but i talk to her everyday and give her gifts, is this a glitch?

For question 1, are you sure that you have the right weather requirements for the events? For example if its rainy or cloudy or something. You should be able to see them after being married. I would double check weather requirements if I were you.
As for number 2, it depends on the circumstances. If you had ignored her and she wont accept it, then when you talk to her for a few days, only talk to her. Don't try giving it to her everyday. Try to talk to her for 3 or 4 days and then see if she accepts.
If this is completely random and you hadn't ignored her, then it may be a glitch. I would suggest trying a different gift, like chocolate [ if she likes chocolate, I'm not sure what she likes ^^; ] I don't know if that will help, but its worth a try.
Have you used an Action Replay before? Because often times a bad AR code could result in a lot of glitches. Your file may be corrupted, making you have to start over, or even worse, your game may be corrupted. Which would totally suck.

For Pierre and Natalie to mary,you need to cook a lot of dishes.i don't know exacly how much though.
Sames from Vaughn and Sabrina,you have to mine a certain amount of gems to activate the last event.
And for Lanna and Denny,catch fish,as before,i dont know exactly how much.
