"Suspicious account activity"

The email I use for my fogu account recently reported suspicious activity, like someone was trying to hack into it. How can I make sure my ushi account isn't hacked? I've already changed my password on both my email and this account, but is that enough?

And can I be banned if my account is hacked and someone else uses it to post messages?

Changing your password should be enough, so long as you don't write down what the password is and then email it to everyone. ;D

Strong passwords have a combination of mixed-case letters, numbers, spaces, and special characters.

Oh, and since mods can see your IP address, they'll be able to tell if someone else is using your account with malicious intent, and disable/temp ban it until you regain control of it. Of course, mods use their own discretion, so they might just permaban you outright and laugh maniacally. I think Ushi's mods are better than that though, and even if they do, you can always appeal to Cher and get the ban overturned.

There isn't much you can do, to stop it. I've changed my password twice, because I keep getting that thing that happens, when someone has tried to hack my account. I must have had the message come up almost every day, that I've logged in.
