I didn't see any topics regarding this, and it does seem kind of stupid...but how many crops can you grow your first spring/summer/fall? With stamina counting, I can only grow 5 or 6 crops. It doesn't seem like much..especially since I didn't get the 100 crops to unlock new crops. Does anybody have any methods to growing more crops than that? I even had a chicken coop at the end of spring with two chickens, and would cook the chicken eggs into boiled eggs or egg soup, but that didn't help much. Is it that I should just hope for a wonderful that expands my watering to 3x1 or 1x3 at the crop festival in spring? Last time I just got an indigo one anyway...

If you equip green wonderfuls you can reduce stamina reduction. I think two would reduce it completely. But, I am not sure. You can also get Goddess and Witch pendants to recover stamina.

THe problem is that I don't have any wonderfuls at that point in the game...so is 5 crops a normal amount of crops to grow in the first few seasons without wonderfuls?

You don't have to water every day, so I had 2 3x3 fields and most of the time I fished. But growing 5 crops is fine. It's not a race, when you can get some wonderfuls then use them.

Sorry to keep bugging you but can you double water then? Like in Sunshine Islands where you can water twice in one day and not water again the next day? I can't tell because the soil only changes to one color.

Yes, you can water it more than once a day and it will accumulate water points.

In my current file, I grow three 3x3 fields, that would be round 27 crops (minus the 3 you can't harvest.). It's hard in the beginning, but with enough blue herbs it works.

Or... you can abuse the weather system to do all your work. Make sure you plant accordingly and water where needed to ensure the crops grow within time frame and maybe 1 - 2 days over time. Usually if you're a causal gamer, just take the first year easy and have fun planting, making money, communicating with the villagers till Winter and then abuse the system to get yourself as many wonderful you can get in that Winter alone. It should give you enough to work through the second year onwards.
