Okay I am playing HM Sunshine Islands now and I think I am doing fine. I have chosen my bachelor which is one of the harder ones to get. I want to ask how long it took you guys to court him and what is the most applicable strategy to unlock him easier. Is there any particular order for the islands needed to be unlocked? Thanks. ^_^

The quickest it took me to woo Mark was 2 months but that was because I had all sizes of friendship pendents and used them on heart events, talking, gifting, festivals, etc.

For strategies, all I can say is keep giving him gifts, talking to him, and win as many festivals as you can.
You need all islands to unlock him (except Sunny) so order doesn't matter.

Yes OF COURSE ! Mark is sweet and all , I don't think he's boring like most people say . So yeah , it's worth all the hard work .

Okay I have another question:

What year have you you married him and what season? (I just can't imagine my HMSI character end up with anyone else,hehe...)

I got him up to a red heart Spring of year 2 and married him that winter. Those pendents helped a lot.

Let's see ... I have him on my islands since first year of winter
got married to Mark on Summer 20th of my third in game year
I'm a slow and perfectionist gamer sooo ...
