What do you guys sell? I can't jump in rivers, 'cuz you know... they're frozen and I don't have the money to buy expensive stuff.
How do YOU make money?
You can break the ice on the rives with a hammer. I grew a lot of crops, sold just about all forage items, and got some animals. Crops is key. Some are better to grind back to seeds, while others are better to cook. Turnips for spring (cook into turnip salad), corn for summer (popcorn), yams for fall (baked yams).
I just entered my 3rd year and lately I've had more money that I know what to do with. I earn over 800,000 at one bazaar recently (which brought my total G above 1 million). Earning money is pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Just do your best and budget your money during the week (and try not to overspend at the bazaar).

I'm at the end of Fall Year 1 and I'm doing pretty well- almost to 50%!!!! Like, one more bazaar, Yaaay!
Anyway I grow a field and a half full of crops every season, and that brings in a ton of money.
Then I forage everything possible, sell my animal products (3 egg-producing chickens, 1 cow, 1 sheep), jump in rivers, and do the grass seed trick
That brings me around 50k per bazaar...but that can be considered poor to people in year 2 and such...hahaha

well the grass seed trick DOES make money but it doesn't work well unless you make enough to fill more than one spot on your bazaar counter, which is not a good idea anyway since your best bet is variety. By first year winter i had a few cows and chickens and sheep and I'd make the eggs and milk into pudding and turn the wool into balls of wool, and keep some eggs and milk as is. diving for stuff would occasionally get me a can of tea, or sea urchins, or even a gold. Going around and breaking the ore stones as you find them sometimes got me a stone other than scrap metal, i also saved the flowers that popped out of the snowballs and if I got all the right ones i could make perfume. I would grind for Bottled Walnuts and honey; And I also had some leftover yams and yellow peppers which I turned into seeds and sold (and the seeds never went bad so if I don't sell them at the bazaar I could just stick them in my storage until next bazaar)

turn anything you can into a meal that you can. that always gives you more money. except for eggs, keeps those the same, along w/ good milk. otherwise the normal milk you can turn into hot milk.
aside from making food, i sold anything i found, like everyone else.
As stated earlier, if you break the ice of the river you can still fish, thats basicly how i can still make a living in the winter

For some reaon, it seems like cheating to me, so I don't do it. I prefer the old fashion way!Alyx wrote:Its a trick to make a lot of money. Jumping in rivers in search for gold, planting trees/crops, cooking, buying pixilated cows upon pixilated cows.
The works.
Though, since I'm lazy, I prefer spamming the windmill for mah grass seeds.
Ah ah, exactly! I'm a little crazy when it comes to my farm...harvestmoongirl333 wrote:The time consuming way.rainydaze wrote:and the old fashion way would be...?Sarjaky wrote:For some reaon, it seems like cheating to me, so I don't do it.
