What am i doing wrong here.

Okay, i've done this similarly several times. This time i kept track of the details.

I went from my farm on a sunny normal monday(no events or festivals) to the waterfall area at 10am. the wind speed was at 2 strength.

Why didn't angelo's black heart event trigger?

This is really getting my goat because i'm now in spring of year 3 and i haven't been able to trigger it.

I even got dirk's BHE on accident once, so its not an overall problem that's preventing heart events from triggering at all.

Also a second question: suppose i leave my farm during the timeframe for the event, all other activation conditions are met, and the event doesn't trigger, do i still have a chance to trigger it that day by walking back and forth between my farm and the waterfall during the timeframe?

Did you try entering the waterfall area from the main town instead of the farm?

I had triggered it by leaving my farm... Did you perhaps trigger it and forgot about it? That has happened to me on more than one occasion with evens... i.e. if i haven't played the game in a long time and ya

I thought that too, but when i tried to activate his purple heart event, it failed. I'd heard of others having problems with activating angelo's BHE too, I was kind of hoping maybe one of them found the magic solution.

But yeah, as for the second question, does anyone know about this mechanic? is it possible to try to activate more than once a day? or if it doesn't activate the first time you try, that's it for the day try again the next?

Hmm-did you try getting Daisy at at least 3 + hearts? That's all I could've thought of unless theirs any other requirements. Try giving him more presents and stuff. Sometimes the guides don't work so it's kinda based on accident? Iunno. . . . .

well, for me to trigger the black heart event, daisy was at no hearts, unless u were talking about purple now... idk about purple

I've been giving Angelo presents all the time. He's actually at a red heart now.

EDIT: Okay, just tried again and nothing.

I have the game in front of me and the stats are right here:

Tuesday Spring 21st, bright sun, 2 wind, 8:14am. Walked from farm to waterfall at exactly 8am, i waited and made sure, and nothing. I even turned off running with l button and it still didn't work.

Are you walking from your faRM TO THE WATER FALL AREA? IT CANNOT BE A FESTIVAL OR A BAZAAR DAY. iT HAS TO BE ON SATUREDAY, SUNDAY, MONDAY, OR TUESDAY.

THIS HAPPENED TO ME WITH SHEA ON SUNSHINE ISLANDS, AND IT ONLY TRIGGERED ON A RAINY DAY, SO I SUGGEST YOU DO IT ON ALL ON A CLOUDY DAY OR A SNOWY DAY.

MAKE SURE IT IS 8:00 A.M. TO 12:00 PM.

PS DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO TURN OFF THE CAPSLOCK?

There is a capslock button to the left of your 'A' key.

If you read my details, yes i've made sure to do it from farm to waterfall every chance i get, every day that isn't rainy, and on every sunday monday tuesday and saturdays that aren't bazaar or festival days.

Also, to everyone, i found the problem. My friend played a couple days on my game and apparently activated the event. She didn't know i was still trying for it.

well, mystery solved i guess.

The black one. I accidentally walked into felix's house and triggered the purple event somehow, then i thought about it and asked her if anything scene-like happened and she told me that yeah one scene thingy did activate.

Well, i guess i should keep better track of what my friends do in my game. I spent 3 in game years on this mystery.
