So, a friend of mine just bought me Grand Bazaar as an early birthday present, and to be honest, I'm LOVING it so far. It's so cute and different~

I have a couple of hopefully quick questions though, which I hope someone can lend a hand with, without having to go through a ton of trouble.

- I'm trying to woo Ivan, and since I'll be needing to get Dirk up to a green heart to do so, I was wondering if experiencing Dirk's heart cutscenes will do anything to Ivan's heart level? I'd like to be able to wander around town freely, but if I have to avoid certain places at certain times of day to keep from seeing them to keep Ivan happy, it'd be awesome if someone could tell me!

- I'm almost certain that Felix told me during the crop planting tutorial that I can't run or even walk on my crops after they start to grow because it'll ruin them, but Ushi seems to make quite the distinct point about not running on them, and makes it seem as if walking is OK. I tried walking back and forth on some turnips, and they didn't flash red like they do when you run on them. If I can walk on them, I'll be sooo grateful, since skipping rows to be able to move between them is killing my profits.

- The last question I have is kind of driving me bonkers. Let's just say I have turnips that I pick on the 8th of Spring, and turnips that I pick on the 12 of Spring. They'll all stack, since they're all "Super fresh!", but since some of them will degrade before the others, will the stack split into two? Or, will they all degrade on the day those from the 8th will, or the 12th? I was honestly just curious about this, because I would hate to have a whole mess of crops downgrade early because I allowed them to stack.

Thanks to much, everybody~! Your help is always so very appreciated!

1) no. infact, it might actually help because if you experience heart events and choose the right answer, it raises his FP more.

2) i personally havent tried this...but i know that when you do the watering/fertilizing thing and start going into a grid-like pattern, it doesnt hurt them at all when you walk over them

3) im pretty sure that it depends on the majority of the crops. like if you picked 7 turnips on the 8th and 10 on the 12th, and they were the same value, they would automaticly be stocked together and would degrade in value at the rate for the 10 on the 12th. however, the opposite would happen if the majority was vice versa. sorry if this was confusing :P its hard to explain stuff online

for the 2nd question you can walk on them. You cant run or jump on them or it will harm them.
and it takes alot of running back and fourth to accually kill crops(i think it depends on the quality i think, like 2 star crops will die faster then 4 star crops if you run on them constantly)

Thanks so much for the help, you guys! :D

I've started chasing Dirk around like a psycho now, since I just saw Ivan's yellow heart event...I don't really know WHY, to be perfectly honest, since I can't get married until next year. :P

I started walking on my crops to water them easier, and it doesn't bother them one bit. :3 I'm so glad I don't have to try and weave my way through the plants now.

I've actually seemed to notice that items that have the same quality level AND the same freshness level but were harvested on different days DON'T actually stack. I've definitely seen it with fish and with some wild items like chamomile and mint, so maybe I was actually mistaken when I thought everything would pile together.

I actually have one more question though, if anybody has an answer...I think it's actually more of a typo than anything, but just to be sure...I just unlocked the second windmill (the manufacturing one, on Summer 17), and Isaac came to see me in the morning to tell me about it and take me there. He told me that I could use the last windmill now, and that it works just like the other ones. Like I said, I'm pretty sure it's more like a typo than a glitch, but I just want to be sure I'm not going to miss out on the grinding windmill somehow. :o

Now if I could just figure out how to catch that stupid bug that's on my house before the end of Summer, I'd be set. >:|

xD No, it's definitely not you.

It doesn't matter what direction I try and get it from, whether I run or walk, or whether I use a single or double jump. :| Nothing works!

I'm in autumn now, myself, so I guess I've missed it until next year...Hopefully I can figure out what I was doing wrong before then~ ];

I even tried coming at it from back near the outside access to the storage, using the roof of the house to kind of guide me around to it.

It's seriously bothering me that I didn't really have a problem with ANY of the other bugs, and yet this one seems impossible!

At least none of us are alone in this. :|

to spare you guys from dissappointment:

i had the same problem but i finally got it after alot of perseverance. however, the bug only sells for like 40 or 50g. i was so upset when this happened so i figured id give you guys a heads up. but if you're not doing it for the money, you're doing it to just catch it and go "ha! i did it! take that!" then go right ahead lol. it took a double jump to do it and it ddnt matter if i ran or not if that helps

Uuuugh, how unfair is that?? To have to go through all that trouble, only to be short-changed. >:[ Not cool.

Well, I guess I'll just keep trying, since I need it for the bug list anyhow. :P Thanks for the heads-up!

EDIT: By the way, is anybody reading this thread still using GB's wifi? I can't seem to find anyone who does. :\ I've PMed some of the latest posters in the wifi sticky over the last week or so, but no such replies~

Now that I'm in winter, it's raising even MORE question. :|

What exactly is supposed to be the purpose of the barrel-jump shortcuts behind the grinding windmill and down Raul's chimney? I think Raul's shop is always unlocked, except on bazaar days, but he's not even in the house at that point, so what's the need to get in? Maybe, for the one by the grinding windmill, there can be coins buried up there on the ledge?

Also, I ran up the frozen river behind the grinding windmill on a whim, just to see what was up there, and found a little piece of land where I could stand. Another place where coins may appear?

you can use those as a boost for stamina. other than that, no clue, except for the one behind the windmill. sometimes coins will show up and other times flowers.

the little bit of land can have snowballs, coins, and rocks for mining. i just restarted playing and i wish i could wifi, but sadly i have none. it sucks :(
