Hi im new and im wondering which animals « I can't make my own decisions about » after the cow(not sure if it was the best choice for a first-timer but raul only had chicken and cow the first time and i thought milk seems like it would make more gold than egg?) thanks

I prefer chick, since it can grow faster than baby cow..
But of course milk is cost higher than egg.

I'd say the cow.

The first animal contest is for the cow summer 15. So can get a a couple hearts to increase the chances of winning. (Just a tip, if you don't win just restart because winning does seem to have a chance component to it)

Also, in the summer you can use yogurt + corn to make chicha.

Yeah, the first animal I get on any harvest moon game is a cow.
Makes more money faster, and that way you'll have more than enough to buy chickens.

Until you've got a fairly steady income, though, avoid getting sheep, as they're pretty unprofitable in the long run -_-

I always get a chick first for no real reason, apart from the grow up fast but thats about it Anyway cows are the REAL money makers, and sheep just don't bring in enough money
