Has anyone had trouble getting their eggplants, yams, & yellow peppers to increase in star ratings? No matter how much fertilizer I put on the plants before they produce fruit the star rating won't budge above 1 star. I have tried focusing on one of each kind to give better grade fertilizer, but that was unsuccessful. It's very strange since my other crops including other seasons increase.
So on another note....
Does anyone have brown and tabby cats for sale in their bazaar?
I'm also looking for high rated yams, y peppers and eggplants.
I can provide 5 star wheat seeds
I haven't had any problems with my fall crops. Just remember that you can't improve the star rating once they start producing. You'll probably have to increase star ratings slowly, using several generations of seeds.
The only cats available for sale at the bazaar are these:
Also, I don't think that you can spam fertilizer on one generation of plants to get them up to 5 star, I think you have to get them up to 1 star, turn them into 1 star seeds, plant them, raise their level to 2 stars, turn them into seeds, repeat repeat.
Dunno, though.
(Also, fertilizer doesn't work in your basement, so there's no point in trying to grow non-5 star crops in there.)

I'm still interested in the orange and brown cats, so if you have them pm me
Actually spamming fertilizer can get you past one or half a star. I managed to get my wheat to five full stars in only one generation.
um, i think you were able to do that with the wheat because it takes sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo long to grow. other crops it is difficult to do that with (raising it more than 1/2 or 1 star) one generation
Yeah, regrowables like peppers and eggplant, etc, their star levels go up way slower than single-harvest crops (which is another reason why that wheat got up to 5-star in one generation, since it's single-harvest).
For me, I'm usually able to get regrowables up to about 1.5 to 2 stars in one generation/season, then put my best ones at the end of the season to seed for the next year and continue on. With single-harvest crops I almost always get up to 5 stars within one season; at most two.
