Okay, so I played HM: Sunshine Island as my first HM handheld and LOATHED it - i mean LOOOOOOOOOOOATHED IT! And I got HM: wind Bazaar for Christmas and I don't LOATHE it - it's s HUGE improvement over SI , but I feel like the characters can be a bit dimensionless...and that the game can get quite routine pretty quickly...SOO given my experiences ( and the fact that I LOVED RFF and ToT and AP) would RF3 be a good buy!?

I agree 99.999 percent.Googaboga wrote:Really what you feel about HM games won't make much of a difference. Cause it's quite different from HM games. But if you loved RFF I would suggest getting this game. There is a good chance you'll like it.
Although I like RFF more than RF3. But RF3 is probably the most popular RF yet.

I love Harvest Moon for it's great farming simulation, but I like Rune Factory more because it combines fun farming with monster hunting and it's much easier to marry in that game lol.
I have Rune Factory 3 and i must say I preferred Rune Factory 2 more, I mean in that game you got to play as your kid which is awesome. In Rune Factory 3 though, you don't get to play as your kid, you have them, but they stay kids forever. You just play as the character you're given. :C
But overall the characters are fun and Rune Factory 3 has it's upsides. Instead of playing wirelessly on Surogoku you can play wirelessly in dungeons with friends, and battle monsters together.
Anyways the story is a nice plot, it's very fun, I do recommend buying it :3

maybe a better question would be what do you think of rf3?Decision about game purchase: Spending your own money on games is your decision to make. Asking other members whether you should or should not purchase something is not for them to decide. It's your own money and each person's opinion will vary. Do your own research and then choose for yourself.
