So my sheep seems to be producing wool every 4 days, rather than every 3. I take it outside (personally) every day as soon as I get up. When it's raining, I keep it inside and make sure it has enough feed.

Does anyone know why this would be?

Edit: I'm fairly sure that it isn't stressed. However, I might have left my animals out one night. I'll play some more and see if that wasn't what it was.

I'm pretty sure the 4 days is the right amount of time. Its 3 days between clippings, so on the 4th day you can shear them again.

just as alyx has said, it is on the fourth day that you can sheer them. so, 3 days between sheerings

day 1, day 2, day 3, then on day 4 shear, day 5, day 6, day 7, then on day 8 shear
