The billion dollar cheat can't be turned off. It's just a natural glitch in the game. Just don't have your sprites fish in HMDS. But you are right about turning off AR codes if you have one. I only used it in SI and it started lagging and getting choppy at parts (I didn't use it on GrB because it was easy enough already). I know it does mess up your game though if you have too many active AR codes.
I have an AR and I stopped using it, but I bought it at gamestop for like $30 if you're looking for it.

I think it was almost 300,000. I always sell cooked items that normally only use one ingredient, and I'm also making sure I can increase my profit by finding some way to increase the value of an certain item. Just like collecting every green rupee in The Legend of Zelda, every small increase in your sales will greatly effect your overall revenue.
