amir's heart?

why doesnt amir have the colored hear when you talk to him?
im pretty sure u can marry him so how are you supposed to know when hes at a certain color without the heat when u talk to him?

He's considered a "special" marriage candidate along with Emiko, so they don't have one visible. I imagine they did this to proclaim a certain "hidden" status, as with previous such candidates from earlier Harvest Moon games. The only way to tell is to check the bookcase in your home and see how many hearts they have, however, that's not perfect because even if you have all ten hearts, it doesn't mean he's at a Red Heart level yet, etc, etc. I guess just keep giving gifts and see if the Heart Events trigger.

Actually, I don't know if this was a glitch in my game or what, but I was able to propose to him at 9 hearts.
And you can't see his heart after marriage.
