I have a question, why are all of the special characters weddings never in the church? Are they all like Iris from RFF and they can't go in the church? Or they're shy? Or they hate people? Or people hate them? Hmm... Something else... Something else....

HK: doesn't want to leave the mountain unless he has to
HB:.......doesn't talk that much TO be in a church *might take him an hour to answer the (do you take...)

Brae: to shy plus people don't really know about him

actually I just made these up but I think these might be why they wont get married in a church......I'm just guessing what do YOU think @anyone who decides to read my randomness

I mean in general in harvest moon games. I think there are only a few cases in the old games where you got married in the church. The newer ones, however, if you marry a special character, you never get married in the church.

well in AP wasn't the wizard a "special" and you got married to him in the church but only at night with know one else around to see you....hmm but you are right about the rest of the games ...... I think it because they just suck I wanna get married to the smexy HK (AP) in public just to embarrass the hell out of him or maybe THE KAPPA!!!!YEAH

Well normally each game has a reason. Like with Skye. He is a thief therefore everyone hates him. And Shea has his own traditions. Amir is also a prince and is keeping that a secret. Wizard I guess just doesn't like people. HK I'm not even sure if other people can see him XD. And again they are just special so it makes them more special to have special weddings .

In this game some of them like Kade is a not people person. But Brae could do it in town but it is just to keep the special characters special that I think all of them should take place on the mountain top. I like the idea of the HK doing the wedding for the magical creatures he always works so hard for. He is like the mayor for them so he deserves to be the one who does their wedding. And he can't leave the mountain top.

@Kross haha very funny. Those are some good reasons. HB is actually quite talkative though. He just pauses with everything he says. He loves the HK though. So if he got married he would want the Harvest King to do it.

I'm not sure what I prefer myself. Part of me will always stay true to battling, but another loves the asthetics of contests and there is a battle of sorts in some of the rounds. *shrugs* If Pokemon were real, I'd probably do both. Did they act like they were around the whole time? I didn't pay attention.

Yeah, it's heartbreaking for me to start a game all the way over like that. Though I'm sure I'll get around to playing after I get over the trauma, it'll just take a little time for my heart to heal. Oh, you only ever played Silver? Let's see, Pokemon Yellow was my first game, and I also had Gold for some time before I lost it. Those two were classics. I really enjoyed the remakes, however. Out of curiousity, why did you never try a different one?

I find it funny that you enjoy the single life better. I guess it makes sense, since the characters become more robotic after marriage, but I never thought it made that big of a difference. I mean, the other guys still keep their dialogue for you, and it's not like your husband holds you back in any way, even if he doesn't help. xP And if it's like the end of the game to you anyway, why do you prefer resetting? I don't mean to insult your way of doing things, I'm just curious about these things. x3

Oh, okay, that makes more sense. ^^ I dunno, Natsume's not been very great with their VAs in the past. However, if they were to give them voices now, I'm sure they'd do much better, considering they're using a different company now. Though I don't know if they'd use the same VA company for both RF and HM. Anyway, that doesn't really matter. What characters in particular would you be looking forward to the most? I'd probably enjoy hearing Natalie's. I would say Will's, but there are so many ways they could mess his voice up. xD

No, you can't make me! D:< I feel the same, but you know, I wasn't that disappointed with Yue. She really did give out a decent amount of dialogue. I wonder if it was equivilant to 10 heart dialogues? Though I suppose if she was a full-time villager, she'd get much more than that, considering this is RF. Still, I enjoyed her dialogue all the same. I just wish they had recycled it throughout the game so I could hear it again.

I...have no idea. His artwork, maybe? xD; Or perhaps they could tell from your events that he's not a straight-up jerk at first like Ignis, and they always wanted to marry an HK, so this makes them happy? But yay, Kit's entered into the double-digits now~ Louvel's the only one left. D:

Hey, speaking of glasses girls, I'm curious. Has there ever been one that left her glasses on when she got married? Because both Mary and Sabrina take off their glasses to get married, as well as Gina (in HoLV at least, not sure about MM). Flora could count, but that's only because the DS girls didn't get wedding outfits in-game. She had her glasses off in the wedding artwork. I know there are more glasses girls but I'm blanking at the second.

Yeah, I loved that side of Kai as well. <3 I'd like to think Kai and Claire met back in MT and got to know each other back when he was like that, and the slightly milder version of him in DSC was the result of that. Or something. ^^;

Oh yeah, MM was yet another game that gave you your heart's desire. A wedding without commitment. xD And with your MM favorite character nonetheless. Jamie's wedding was the best too. Except for the KurtxDia parts. I really enjoyed how everyone commented on their marriage and they showed a good look into their life after marriage. Although I still find it disturbing that Nami implied Jamie was frolicking in a meadow (or something) with Tina. O_o

That really is ridiculous, how people justify it like that. If anything, I'd be a tad bit politer to people on the internet I don't know. After all, kindness to strangers is important. D: Typing things on the computer doesn't change anyone's personality, if anything it frees people to say what's really on their mind. But oh well, people like that probably derive some sort of fun from acting that way, so explaining this wouldn't matter. -_-

Alright then, I think I might work that in. Thanks. ^^ Ah, that's true, Damian may change after befriending Tait, but he probably wouldn't be comfortable with that. Tait and Alice may have snapped him out of his lone-wolf ways for the most part, but that doesn't change the fact he has a short attention span and is easily bored with people. So I guess he'll visit his house in the morning and then go somewhere else to train. Or maybe occasionally meet up with Kit.

Having a set name but not being forced on it would be a great idea. Then it'll feel like she's a real character, having a non-customizable true name and everything, as opposed to posing as a sort of extension of yourself. The RF characters have always had plenty of life anyway, they deserve to fully be their own people like that. ^^

Heh, I'm much happier spending time working on this thread as a group. ^^ But occasional updates on your RF will certainly be welcome~

D'aww Kade, I just wanted to hug him so badly right then. >//< Haha, and the HB is as hilariously infuriating to Kade as always. I could picture this scene really, really well. I just loved all of it. <3 You succeeded in making it very dramatic at first. Though knowing you, I knew it couldn't stay that way that long. xP Oh please Googsie, whenever you feel like doing something "silly," share it with us, because this event was fantastic. Just as great as a "real event" as you put it.

Okay, that makes sense that the special people should have a special wedding setting. But would Damian and Brae be able to invite their non-magical friends to their weddings? Should that be a part of their unlockable weddings too? And when you put it that way, I find it very cute your HK-as-mayor comparison very cute. :3 It really makes me appreciate the whole magical community more. I also love the idea of him getting to perform the weddings. :D Oh, but what about his own? Would Clear do it for him?

Well some girl's mother was like some famous contest winner when she was younger. And I'm like "No! You can't just say that "contests" have been around since then. You just came up with it right now! They did not exist when that lady was a kid and you are liars D:<!". That was the start of my dislike for contests. But I guess that does sound pretty cool. I'd probably at least try both if I lived in Pokemon.

Well we had other ones but I never got into any. I just tried Silver and that was it. I never had any desire to try a different one. I guess Pokemon just isn't my game. I love Pokemon though. Just not playing the games XD.

Because I save right before proposing see the whole marriage thing and then I get to be single again if I reset :D. I feel like it completely ruins my file if I get married. I'm stuck with the same pixel robot for the rest of forever. And it makes me lose interest in playing if I am married. Marriage just makes the game seem way more boring then single life. Plus at least that way I can see the wedding whenever I want. I can go start up anyone of my HM games right now and marry nearly anyone I felt like >:D (and I've got a lot of HM games). And I don't feel like that's insulting. I personally don't get why anyone would want to be tied down to one person. Then if you ever want to marry someone else you'd have to restart your whole file. I just don't see the appeal to permanently marrying :/.

Yeah. I'm sure I'd like the voices they pick. I never really complain about those. I don't think RF had bad ones. Besdies Cammy and a little Roy. Everyone else in all the games seemed fine to me. I'd wanna hear Shea (what a surprise ). And all the other marriage candidates I like. Plus Taro and Gannon too. I think Will could have a voice that helped his popularity. Or a voice that helped people insult him XD. It could go either way.

I forgot. I'll have to talk to her when I play RF3 again. But I still wish you could actually befriend her. Anyways I'm just hoping RF4 has some male guest characters this time. Umm has there ever been a male guest character? Hmmmmmm...... Nope. I think the guest characters have always been female. That is a downer . The guys are some of the best characters in the game. I hope they finally use one for a guest character.

I guess so o_o. It is just so funny all of the sudden he's shot up in the polls. Now I don't have tow worry about Shiloh anymore. Since HK is so popular now. Yeah for Kit. Poor Louvel. Oh well there isn't much that can be done. I can't work on events for him right now so he'll just have to wait.

Gina does keep them on in MM. But Gina in HoLV does not. Also Phoebe in ToT/AP has her glasses on. I guess games with portraits take them off and games with just 3D models don't. Unless it's like IoH and DS where they don't get wedding outfits.

Haha that's a nice way of looking at it. It makes me sad that they removed one of his expressions from FoMT/MFoMT. I played that first so I was confused as to why he seemed like such a bigger jerk in B&G. But I realized he had a facial expression I'd never seen before and it was so smug XD.

That was great. Jamie <3. I wouldn't mind if all weddings ended like that. That's why B&G was also great for me. It was so much nicer to get married have a nice little scene that was much better then the weddings in other games. Then just get to go back to being single. That is the way it should be done. Yeah. My little brother is very mean on the internet and he is always so surprised to see someone who is nice. He plays some online game and apparently pretty much everyone there is a jerk. So it is a big shock to see someone who is polite. Crazy stuff. I'd never want to be mean just because it is the internet. That is still a real person you're talking to.

Rai would be mad. But then just walk around saying how everyone is just jealous that he can work that look and they can't XD.

Well all the text book info that the Harvest King knew just came with the Harvest Being when he was created. But personal, emotional, and social knowledge had to be learned on his own.

That would be great. I know that getting all his friendship events is one of the requirements for the special unlockable wedding. But there should be something else too. It is for all bachelors that have an official friend. Not just magic ones. Also the proposal is better too. It goes exactly the same but then at the point where it normally ends instead the guy asks to go tell his best friend about it. So you get to see another little scene of the guy giving the big news to his friend.

Damian can have it at the church with Tait. So of course non magical people can go there. And Brae can have only his best friend show up if you get the special wedding. Cause most people don't know about the HK so it'd have to be a very important person to be allowed to go there. Other than no other human can come.

Yes Clear will be the guy who stands there and talk. But it will mostly be the HK doing all the work since Clear doesn't really understand how that works XD.

Here is an fixed/more detailed plot of my RF idea and also my original seven characters have bios. I do not have all the names/nicknames yet ':D.

Plot:
A young woman is being transported by guards. She has no idea what happened but most of her memories have simply vanished. All she has is the knowledge that she was a solider for the Sech Empire and a piece of paper that says in large red letters "Banished For Crimes Against The Empire". Banishment is meant to be a more merciful sentence then death but after arriving she quickly realizes it may only look better on paper. Left alone with nearly no supplies in a wasteland surrounded by hostile monsters on all sides. She figured there was no way to survive in a place like this. It might have just been easier if death had come quickly by execution. But she was too determined to figure out as much of her past as possible. Even if she could only postpone the inevitable to do so. After wandering down the path she came upon an area uninhabited by monsters. But inhabited by something even stranger. It was a small crumbling settlement of other banished Sech. It seemed to good to be true. And it possibly is. The small village is tearing at the seams. The first person you meet is a good-natured man. Who was pretty much considered the honorary mayor of the little settlement. He explains what the town was and how it doesn't seem like he'll be able to keep the people together. If only there was something that could be done. Out of all the problems listed instantly the problem of lack of food jumps out at the young woman. She almost instinctively offers to become a farmer. The mayor gladly accept her offer and gives you a small shack to live in. It had the best land for farming so it had to do. He also gave her some seeds and tools to get her started. With someone farming the village is able to remain. But that is just the beginning of the problems. These people were all banished as well. And obviously there was a reason for it. Besdies the mayor and a few choice others this young woman seems to be the only sane person around. Most of the village is over taken by incredibly unstable people who are not the type you' d ever feel safe to live around. From the poison obsessed "doctor", to a twisted sadist, an extremely paranoid man who speaks more to himself and inanimate objects then other human beings, a completely unfeeling inventor who is as emotionless and robotic as the things he creates, the suspiciously happy pathological liar, and a man who can't tell the difference between reality and his constant hallucinations. Plus more! To help combat some of the problems there is an anonymous complaint/request box. The members of the town put in slips of paper asking for help or change. It is anonymous to keep people from avoiding helping someone based on their personal preferences. Because many members have strong dislikes for others in the settlement. But unfortunately very few people want to help anyone at all. And Mayor can't do it all. So it would be a great help to the settlement if this new girl in town took on the requests of the other villagers. But since all of the requests are anonymous you won't know who you're helping until you've already accepted. You will have to choose based on what the request is not based on the person who is asking. Another of the many problems takes place the very next day in the settlement. As you try to get settled in the mayor comes to ask you about yourself. Where you're from and you're name. You realize that you do not know your own name or past. In a place like this her solider instinct was telling her she must be suspicious of everyone. It was not a question, she must not let these people know she has no idea about her past. While trying to come up with a plan to hide her amnesia the "mayor" explains that no one here really likes to speak about their past. And go so far as to refer to themselves by nicknames instead of their real name to make sure no one has heard of the things they have done. And that he is refereed to as "mayor" because that is his nickname. It was all suspiciously convenient but she was able to choose a nickname for herself and it was left at that. No one here would question her past because they themselves did not want people questioning their past. That was one benefit to this town of dangerous individuals. Now it was your turn to ask the questions. Where did this place come from? Mayor explained that he has been here for years. He was not only the honorary mayor but the carpenter as well. He was the one who originally found this area that was inexplicably monster free. Mayor built the empty place from the ground up. He lived alone for a long time. He would sometimes find remains of humans. So he knew that he was not the only one being banished here. Mayor decided that since he was able to survive here maybe he could help others as well. He knew from experience that he never had to worry about monsters because even if they knew of this place they would never enter. So he unhid the little settlement and purposely set it up so that it could be found by people wandering in the wasteland. Even going as far as building roads and paths all around the area. Someone else who had banished discovered the settlement instead of wandering the monster dungeons until he died. This young man was very suspicious of Mayor. It didn't make any sense to him that someone would go to all the trouble to help strangers. He was a very capable fighter and forager if he wanted her could survive in the dungeons. He explained that he also had been living here for years. So it would be easy for him to continue to live outside of the settlement. But he decided that he would be the first person to join the one man small town. Mayor was grateful but also confused. When Mayor asked why, the new member pointed out toward the entrance to one of the dungeons. There stood a very weak looking young man. Mayor realized that the young man wasn't joining for himself. He wanted to stay because he was with someone else. The young man went over to his friend and explained they would be staying here from now on. And as long as they were here they didn't need to worry about monsters anymore. So the three of them were the original members of the settlement and more continued to join over time. Mayor explained that not every member was a good addition. It became very difficult to maintain all the members because many of them were selfish, power hungry, untrusting, uncaring, and or uninterested in whether the settlement remained or not. You promised to do your best to keep the settlement going. And wondered who were the two men who first joined. Mayor laughed and said it was a secret. If you wanted to know you'd have to get to know the other villagers and ask them. You knew that it wasn't really a secret and he was just using that as an excuse to get you to interact with the villagers. But in the back of your mind you were still curious. So what was this placed called? Mayor told you that the settlement didn't actually have a name. No one cared enough to ever ask. He was so pleased that he allowed you to decide the name of the settlement. After choosing what to call the town you get a small tutorial on how to sell things. Then Mayor leaves and you are free to do as you like.

Main Character:
Nickname You Decide; Real Name Melah:
Melah was a Sech solider. Her memories disappeared one day. And for reasons unclear to her she was sentenced to banishment. She now lives in a small settlement of other banished Sech. She works as a farmer providing food for the town. Melah is a very determined person. Once she puts her mind to something she makes sure it gets done. Melah at first does not want to deal interact with the other people around her. Most are unstable and it is very difficult to deal with them. But she begins to get used to the craziness of the town and warms up to the rest of the members. Melah is a skilled fighter and explores the dungeons around the settlement. Trying to find out why no monster enters that area of land.


Settlement Members:
Nickname Jem; Real Name Undecided:
Jem is one of the only other females in town. She runs the kitchen. In the settlement everyone gets food from the same place, one of the larger buildings. All the food collected is brought there. At least it's supposed to be. Jem is luckily very trusted in town so most people feel safe leaving their food in her hands. All the edible items that you ship go to her. She is also collects the items from your shipping bin herself. Jem has to make meals for everyone in the settlement using only the food provided by you and the other members kind enough to donate food they have found. Jem is very creative and always finds ways to make the best out of what she has. It is rumored she was banished for being part of a group of rebels.


Bachelors:
Nickname Doctor Eye; Real Name Gavin:
The settlement has many people who hold jobs, including the settlement "doctor". But he is really more of a scientist. He chooses to go by the title doctor for some reason. His nickname comes from the fact that his first real experiment had to do with altering eye colors. He is a very sentimental man and even though the experiment failed he loves to reminisce about the past. Even though his past is filled with horrible things that most people would wish they could forget. He has done many awful experiments and it doesn't seem to bother him at all. Even though he is supposed to be a human doctor he is far more preoccupied with monsters and poisons now. He has lost interest in humans. Doctor Eye is an expert on all things poisonous. And is often seen wearing a face mask because of all the lethal bio chemicals he deals with on a daily basis. He is very happy with his banishment. There are monster subjects everywhere, many strange dangerous plants, and no real law to stop him from doing his evil experiments. It is the perfect way to exist at least for him it is. Doctor Eye just sees other humans as nothing more then things that could be used for scientific advancement. He spends nearly all day inside his make shift laboratory and only goes out to collect more food and subjects.



Nickname 056; Real Name Nameless:
This guy is arguable the least liked member of the settlement. 056 just gets under everybody's skin. He has an in-depth knowledge on the human mind. He uses his expertise in psychology to mess with people's heads. 056 tells everyone the last thing they want to hear. He also can tell their weaknesses and uses that against them. He does this because he is a sadist. He only finds enjoyment in the suffering of others. It makes no difference to him if the settlement stays together or not. Although psychological torment is fun he prefers physical torture more. Of course if he took it that far he'd be kicked out of the settlement. So he keeps those feeling suppressed. 056 doesn't have much interest in you because he feels women are far too predictable and easy to upset. It's no fun since anyone can upset a woman. In his twisted little world it is much more satisfying to hurt a male. He desires to have power over other people. 056 doesn't get along with Mayor at all.




Nickname Undecided; Real Name Reed:
This guy lives in and runs the general store in town. He spends all day taking stock. He is afraid if he doesn't someone will come in and move or steal items. He keeps everything in order. He very jittery and twitchy. He is always looking back and fourth and over his shoulder. He is terrified someone will be watching him somewhere. He flinches at the slightest noise. He constantly mumbles things to himself. He has no social skills and is far more suspicious of the other members then everyone else. Most people don't trust others but he has some extreme suspicion of everybody. Expect he is less suspicious of you and all the people who move in after you. No one is really sure why. But it is believed that there is some reason behind it. The only things he can talk to are the small toys he crafted. Those inanimate objects are the only things he considers as friends. He takes excellent care of them. And gets very upset of anyone touches them.


Nickname, Storm. Real name, undecided.

Storm seems like a melancholy person at first, and you assume he has depression. But a few minutes into talking with him, he goes in a wild rage at you. Then he is suddenly calm, and cheerful, and he explains that he’s bipolar. Storm is so different in each one of his moods that it’s almost like different people. When he’s sad, he becomes an introvert, and only speaks in short sentences, if at all. When he’s calm and happy, he’s boring and absolutely normal. He only mentions the weather and current events. When he’s ecstatic, he babbles incessantly about the stupidest things. Andhedoesn’tusespacesbecausehetalkssofastaboutstupidstufflikeohheylookitsabirditsblueIlikebluebirdshahahaha! When he’s upset, he snaps about everything, and insists everything is your fault. And then, when he’s tempestuous, nobody knows what happens. He locks himself in his house those days, and if you walk by it, you can hear screaming and loud banging noises. He was banished from the Sechs empire for murder. He had special medication that controlled his emotions, so he was able to live a peaceful life as a librarian. One day, he hadn’t had his medication in a few days, and a customer was complaining about how he has such little selection in his library. The customer had caught Storm in a particularly horrible mood, so Storm picked up an encyclopedia and began beating the customer over the head savagely with the book. He was so ashamed, that he reported his self and willingly took the banishment. Even to this day, he can’t go near a library without shuddering. He runs a bath house, and uses the bath to try to calm his nerves since he can’t get his medication out here in the settlement.

Nickname Black Feathers; Real Name: Wren
This young man does not speak. He does not change the blank expression on his face and he hardly even moves. He was given the nickname Black Feathers but everyone calls him Feathers for short. Feathers is an inventor. He doesn't make much anymore but when he does he spends all his energy on making it. Feathers has no interest in taking care of himself. He will not sleep or eat unless someone forces him to. If left alone he would stand in one spot until he died. He also constantly passes out from dehydration, malnutrition, or heat stroke. Other members of the settlement must take turns taking care of Feathers. Not everyone is allowed to watch over Feathers because they aren't trusted enough to correctly take care of him. Feathers doesn't care what happens to him. He is constantly compared to the robotic things he creates because of his lack of feeling. He is called Black Feathers because birds are quite fond of him and often gather around the places he stands. Feathers doesn't seem to have any kind of reaction to them though.



Nickname Ghost; Real Name Vance:
Ghost is a very talkative young man. He always has something to tell you. But most of the time it is all lies. He is famous in town for his pathological lying. Ghost is not stupid. He does not lie willy nilly so that you can tell he is lying. Ghost makes all his lies very believable. And will often toss in bits of truth or "half truths" as he calls them. When he assumes you think he's lying he'll tell the truth just to confuse you all over gain. Even with his persistent habit of constantly lying it it still very difficult to tell what's a lie and what's not. Ghost gave himself the nickname Ghost. He choose that because he is proud of his ability to sneak around without being noticed. Ghost's lying is not his only bad habit. He needs to have interesting to tidbits to talk about. To do that he uses he sneaking abilities to obsessively search out secrets of the people around him. He honestly doesn't care what the secret is or who is hiding it. All he cares about is telling it to the nearest person he finds. Even if the person believes it is a lie it doesn't matter. He just laughs. As long as he can reveal a secret everything else doesn't matter. No one is exactly sure why he was banished but most people think it probably has to do with him revealing some kind of important issue. Ghost does not confess or deny that accusation. But he is always happy to tell you a lie about why he was banished. Who knows maybe one of those crazy stories is really the truth. With Ghost you just never know. Ghost is always smiling.



Nickname Undecided; Real Name Everett:
This is a very spacey young man. He has a very unstable metal state. Because he is harassed by constant hallucinations. He can not tell the difference between what is real and what is an illusion. He is normally very docile and just goes with the flow. He is not really an idea person. He leaves it up to everyone else to decide how things will work. He doesn't like to put forth actual effort. He has given up on most things. But sometimes he has violent fits of rage. That mostly happens when people try to convince him something he is seeing is real or fake (depending on the situation). He believes he knows what is real and what isn't. But he really doesn't. He spends all day looking up at the sky trying to ignore all the strange hallucination that occur. That causes trouble when something actually happens and he just passes it off as another illusion. He rocks back and forth when he sits.



Nickname Mayor; Real Name Weston:
This is the first person you meet when you stumble upon the little nameless settlement. He was the fonder of the settlement and considered the honorary "mayor". And so that is the nickname that he goes by. Although he'd rather have people go their real names he respects their feelings and made it a custom of the town to use nicknames. Mayor tries to keep the settlement together but it is a difficult task because of all the high maintenance characters living there. He is also the local carpenter. Collect wood and earn money and you can hire him to improve your farm and the town itself. Mayor has been living in the wasteland for over ten years. He is quite a bit older then most of the other villagers including the MC. But it is not very noticeable. He is very docile and good-natured. Mayor is knowledgeable in many areas. He believes that life is for constant education and even after school it is important o keep learning each day.


Nickname Archer; Real Name Arden:
This guy is even newer to the settlement then you are. He discovers the settlement after you have explored part of the first dungeon and came to a spot you could not get past. Most of the people in the settlement want to hide what they have done to be banished. This guy never not stops talking about it. He was a servant to a very wealthy aristocrat. He never really had any problem with humans, until he was banished. Now he can't stand most of them. He constantly complains about how the only thing he did that was a mistake was working with a human. He was banished for thievery but he insists that he never stole a thing. And that he was framed as an excuse to get him banished. He says the real reason he was banished was because the humans wanted him gone. Apparently while on the job he over heard too many important pieces of information. So they were worried and decided they had to banish him. He has no idea what the info even means but he is sure that is the real reason behind his banishment. They probably just expected him to die out there. It turns out the info ends up coming in handy in the first dungeon. So every so often he tells you what he knows to try and help you. He will gladly share the info he acquired if it means he could be causing problems for the people who framed him into banishment. He decided that all the humans in Sech were terrible. But makes an exception for the people in the settlement. Somehow he came to the conclusion that since they were banished too they must be okay guys. Even though they are all criminals in one way or another.


Nickname Rife; Real Name Koah:
Rife is quite childish. He is sweet and not very confident in himself. He also hears voices in his head. All day and night his mind is filled with multiple voices. Rife doesn't see it as strange. It seems perfectly normal to him. He can't ever remember a time when he didn't have the voices. He often sits alone in a corner speaking to the voices. When he talks to others he always makes sure to include the voices in the conversation too. He makes sure the person he is talking to knows how the voices are feeling. The voices don't like it when he spends time with other people. So Rife is a solitary person. He acts like there is never anything wrong but he is a very sad individual. But he can never talk about it with anyone. He would like to be able to get along with others he just doesn't know how. Especially since he has to deal with the voices discouraging him from trying to make any friends. Rife can't stand getting wet.


Real Name Leif:
Leif has an extreme duel personality disorder. He considers himself to be two separate people. And therefore has two nicknames. You can tell which version you are speaking to at the time by the name that shows. And their distinctly different facial expressions. No one is sure how long he has been like this but they have just learned to deal with both his personalities.

Nickname Cotton:
This is the first personality. He is a very sensitive young man. Cotton considers his other version to be a friend. Even though he knows how bad the other one is, Cotton likes to say Half is just misguided. Cotton has no memories of what his other version does. He represses them and insists that there is no way he can know what is happening. He firmly believes that him and his other personality are two separate people. So he declares that there is no way for him to see everything that Half does. Cotton does not know the reason he was banished. He just knows that he must have come with Half when he left. And that only Half knows the real reason behind it. Cotton is very fragile and has no idea on how to defend himself. He lets Half make the decisions. Cotton doesn't want to upset him so he just does whatever he is told. Cotton deeply wishes for Half to make a new friend and be happy.

Nickname Half:
This is Leif's second personality. Half is quite a bit smarter then Cotton. While there seems to be a 50-50 split in how much time each personality is in control Half definitely seems to be more in command then Cotton. He knows everything Cotton does. Cotton says he has no idea how Half is always able to know everything he does. But Cotton makes sure to be on his best behavior since he knows Half will find out. Half is also completely aware that he is merely one of two personalities. He knows that him and Cotton are the same person. Because he accepts that he able to remember everything that Cotton does. Half is a very manipulative person. He is very good at convincing people to do as he likes. Half likes to stay out of everyone's business. He prefers so just sit on the sidelines and watch as things play out. Half loves to have things ordered. He has his life and Cotton's too set on a very strict schedule. Half seems to know a lot about the other members of the settlement.

Note: Cotton and Half may be the same person but the personalities are separate. So both Cotton and Half have their own LP/FP meter. They also have separate request lines and different likes and dislikes. But their most favorite gifts are the same.


Nickname Undecided; Real Name Undecided:
This guy is the sunniest person in the settlement. He always has something nice to say. He is extremely optimistic and no one can make him angry. You'd never believe someone as sweet and helpful as him could be banished for anything. And you'd be right. He was not banished, he came to this place of his own free will. But that certainly does not mean he isn't like all the other members of this settlement. In his world everything is "great". Everyone and everything is great. It seems quite normal at first. Maybe he is just genuinely happy. Of course it is never that simple. If you start asking him depressing questions things start becoming much more complicated very quickly. No matter how terrible it is, it's still "great" in his eyes. If you are smart and know him well you can trip him up. And it is then you can start to see the cracks in his facade and the underlying madness. He is not happy at all. "Great" to him means the same thing as "worthless" to a normal person. So if you replace the two words to understand what he really means, his world seems much less happy. Basically something is great. But so is everything else. If you were to die that would be too bad, but the world is full of other great people so it's okay. Everything is "great" everything is replaceable. Meaningless. Nothing in the world matters to him. But that won't stop him from living in denial and pretending that things are good.

^That guy is actually a humanoid reptilian monster or maybe half dragon half human. Not sure yet. But he's gonna be some kind of dragon like guy. Why? Because I flippin want one of those that's why >:/! Also all his teeth are very sharp and spiky. So his smile does not look normal X3.

Jem is one of the only other females in town. She runs the kitchen. In the settlement everyone gets food from the same place, one of the larger buildings. All the food collected is brought there. At least it's supposed to be. Jem is luckily very trusted in town so most people feel safe leaving their food in her hands. All the edible items that you ship go to her. She is also collects the items from your shipping bin herself. Jem has to make meals for everyone in the settlement using only the food provided by you and the other members kind enough to donate food they have found. Jem is very creative and always finds ways to make the best out of what she has. It is rumored she was banished for being part of a group of rebels.

Can there be a bi-polar bachelor? Like, seriously bi-polar. He could have been kicked out for murder, because someone messed with him when he was upset. It could be randomly generated what mood he was in each day, and his dialog would depend on that. And occasionally he could be in a horrible mood, and he stays in his house all day with the doors locked. And every time you walk by it on those days, you get an event where you hear screaming and banging.

Requests are anonymous notes you take out of a box. He'd probably automatically be in a certain mood if you accepted the request.

Like if he was happy and then you selected a request that ended up being his, when you got to the meeting spot he'd be in a different mood depending on that the request was.
