Basically what was said before, aside from the part where Hasimoto states that the story doesn't connect to the previous games. Now I don't know what he means by that, but I'm a bit worried. D: Does that mean no fight with Ventuswill?

As for the return characters, I'm almost positive there will be one. I think there's always been a return character in these games (Ceci, Yue, Mei, Tabatha, Candy, etc). Actually, with the whole tourism gimmick, I'd expect a lot of return characters. But I won't get my hopes up just yet.

@ZaFreed You think this one's not as girly as Raguna? Interesting...Also, glad to hear I'm not the only one picking up a Selphy vibe, or to notice the similaries between the new protag and Iris. ^^ What kind of street pass features did you have in mind?

@Starlight Hmm, I don't think you'll have to worry about the grid-like town. It looks like the first part is against the grid, but looking further I see more roofs, so I assume there will be a good amount of buildings in the middle as well. We should be able to roam just like we did in RF3. I don't know why they'd revert back now.

Well, we don't really need to fight Ventuswill, but he actually may not be involved at all and it's a different dragon, But that will upset me. A lot.

Anywho, for me, Magaret doesn't look like Selphy (Maybe personality wise) but looks A LOT like Daria. Still think she is Daria's sister. But for the male protag, it's just the artists getting lazy. He doesn't remind me much of Iris with the exception of the hairstyle.

For return characters, I only want them if they are marriagable or at least be able to befriend.

I wonder what the kid situation will be like... maybe 2nd gen again (that'd be nice), or maybe have more than one, how much they'll grow up, look the same no matter who you marry... Hm.

I know I'm curious as well....Just as long as the children don't end up like the ones in RF3 D: Maybe they'll do the kids like they've done in RFO(where the kid looks like the spouse) and I'm all for a second gen. like in RF2 :D

@Ranger Mm, I guess we don't have to, it would just feel weird not to though. I wonder if Ventuswill was mentioned in anything I read? I might've ignored confirmation since I had already figured it would be him. Either way, it's more likely it is him, especially considering how the protags arrived to the town.

Oh, agreed, Margaret looks much more like Daria. They could be twins (or sisters, going by your theory, which I fully support). I just thought she had a touch of Selphy as well. I have a feeling that the male protag won't be anything like Iris in terms of personality, but I still see too much Iris in his appearance to not notice.

Yeah, I'd hate for them to bring back some old characters, make them look totally awesome, and then make them non-befriendable. But I doubt they'd do that, since they haven't in the past. Even Yue and Mei got a decent amount of dialogue.

As far as the kids thing goes, I don't care how many we get or what they look like, so long as they're not zombies and they don't reuse sprites again. >_> With the focus on the love system, we just might get better kids, but there's no way I'm getting my hopes up on this.

While I am interested in the children, I want to see more smexy guys. Not that I'd be disappointed with only Vishnal, but its good to know our whole range of possibilities before deciding.

offtopic: But yes like I've said I'm uber excited about this Rune Factory :D I bet it'll be awesome with the 3d stuff(even though I tried to play a 3DS at my local gamestop and it actually made my eyes hurt even when I turned off the 3D part) and I'm hoping as well that they bring back some recurring characters from the other series. That would be awesome!

Yeah it was weird since I have no problems like that when I play my DS D: But maybe it was because my eyes were still adjusting to the screen or something... I dunno

Vishnal's(or however you spell it) is the butler right? I think he's cute :3 I think this has already been said but I honestly hope they give the female protagonist more guys to choose from than they did in RFO(tbh I like the bachelors in that game)

Hehe, all the RF guys so far have been awesome, so I'd be happy if any of them returned. x3 Especially if we could marry them. That'd be less work for them, not having to create as many bachelors and all. *crosses fingers*

Mm, well consider that this is their first time with the boy/girl choice from the start. Thinking about all the dialogue that's going to take, varying responses from two different protags from the start, compared to the dialogue they had to come up with in the past, I doubt they'll have given themselves enough time to not only complete gen.1 with even amounts of bachelor(ette)s but for a gen.2 as well. Maybe next game, if we're lucky, but right now I'd just be thankful for the girl option and hopefully a decent amount of goodlooking bachelors. (Though to be honest, Vishmal would probably be enough for me x3).

Let's hope that was it. D: I want to be able to enjoy this game and all the wonderful features it offers. Especially the anime cutscenes <3

Yep, that's him. And since we're female from the start, it means that being a girl isn't a last minute decision, so we should get a fair amount of bachelors.

Is it just me, or have you guys started thinking about bath scenes for the bachelors? x3 Oh wait, those were only in the console games. *snaps fingers*
