i have a 3ds but i dont have any 3ds games because none that are worth buying have come out yet
i finally dont feel like i wasted my money now

I think they will need to come out with quite a few more games before they come out with any new console incarnations. Also the time between the NDS and its later iterations took a few years so RF4 will probably be out in English before the next 3DS.

Wow I just look at this site only 12 hours ago and its already had some stuff added. Thanks for noticing this. I hope more stuff will come soon.
