The blue box is basically "we wanted to immerse the player more in the fantasy world as opposed to just fighting in one", "We can do more with this new software", and "Players asked for male and female pcs so we put them in"

The text on the website says "Fall in love and become stronger" and "Make the world more loving".

My guess is that this one will focus more on romance because of revealed details like dokidoki zoom.

We seriously need an evil bachelor or at least someone who is mean to the female protag. at first but slowly becomes nicer to her and I'm not talking about a tsundere!

Either way, he's the first character introduced, so I'm hoping he'll be in the storyline.

Well the Rune Factory 4 Character & General Information Thread does mention he may have a connection with the military. What contries military is not mentioned. So he could be like a spy or saboteur. But wow, there are a lot of people hoping for an antagonist love interest.

I personally would love an antagonist love interest, providing it's done well. I'm just tired of the same "types" of marriage candidates, I guess...there's always the perky girl, the shy and/or bookish girl, etc...probably asking too much from a video game, though.

I also think it would be cool to have a game in the...Sechs? Is that how you spell it? That empire.

i think all we got was the name of the town >.> i just have a feeling that Sech Empire is involved. Norad doesn't have airships cause they aren't that 'advanced'. and in RF1 Lynnett mentions her country having airships (and she from the Sech Empire :'D)

hence why my theory has some holding.

and i love the idea of Bishie being linked and doing mysterious things for another army~

If Frey is a tomboy she is going to be my favorite protagonist
I dont really understand how a girly girl can fight monsters i can just imagine her going all like "Ew. Thats like OHEMGEE so gross."
But I still love Sonia/Sonja.

Yeah, Frey seems to be the tomboyish type to me and I don't really like tomboyish girl's just a personal preference. But I do like her design as it seems more detailed than Sonia's but I just find sonia too cute not to like~

We'll have to see about personality because Frey's description does say she struggles with being a princess which has two meaning's to me:

1) She's a tomboy that doesn't fit well in the princess position

or

2) Struggling with the leader role doesn't seem like a tomboyish quality to me...

I want to play tides as well, but I like the sounds of this game a bit better X3 so hence my 'excitedness' has shifted.

I'm not anticipating TOTT too much, when it came out I thought the two town idea was cool but I don't know the 'high' just sort of wore off on me...last year? XD not too crazy about the characters in that one I guess. But i'll see when I play it, and hey it will be able to hold me off for Tides so happy about that. = D
