Ooooh you know what, I didn't notice that at all before. It's definitely not as prominent as some of the other elves in the series, but it's definitely there.

So Cecilia and Tabatha = maid elves
and now volkanon = butler elf?

Yeah In noticed it too. Though they seem a little short, so maybe he's half-blooded. Or like Toona and is perhaps half-monster. That might explain why he serves the dragon, as it might be his parent. Last theory, he is the wind dragon in human form.

While Volkanon may have some elf/dwarf/monster back in his genes and family tree somewhere, I doubt he really has enough to be called one and I really doubt he's the human form of the dragon when you could just show the protag your form right away? It's a possibility, but I doubt it. I also just think Volkanon just may have really funny shapped ears. They are pointy, but they are also shorter than most half-blood pointy ears too.

Anyway, looking back at the site now...I notice something. Undernearth the "Coming Soon!" part, we see a blue box of japanese text. And when I click it, I get more japanese text. I doubt it has anything to do with the game, but it may have some info regarding when the site should update.

This would honestly be the coolest thing ever. NEW FAVORITE THEORY. RF3 showed that one of the dragons was definitely intrigued with the protagonist, so it's possible. <3

And since he was one of the first characters introduced, I definitely think that means he'll have some kind of impact on the story.

Wind dragon in human form? That be epic seeing as then there would have to be some kind of important plot point if that's the case. Dragons wouldn't be taking on human form for nothing.

yeah his ears are kind of long upwards but not pointed off to the side, maybe a dwarf? D:

Well he doesn't have to be half-blooded persay. But he could be from a long line of the dragons descendents that serve it. I have heard stories from other games and myth which followed that idea.

As for my theory of him being the dragon that is another idea that has occured in passed games. Such as in Radiata Stories. As for why he would not reveal his true self, I do not know. Perhaps he just does not trust you, seeing as you have no memory or that is how it observes the people of the kingdom, without drawing to much attention.

But he may just be several generations from an elven ancestor, or dwarven. We will just have to wait for more info to find out.

Also considering that we know next to absolutely nothing about this game, I think it's safe to say Volkanon can be anything at this point. So I wouldn't dismiss anything.

Well, now I kind of take back my doubt cause I remember that often in numerous mythologis, a deity would take on a more earthly form of an animal or human to confront other humans that grabbed their interest. So it's a possibility, but personally, I'd rather the dragon have a more youthful look if you know what I mean.

I would like to see some others. I see that he already has some fan girls,
but I prefer a different type of guy.

... kind of random but I wonder if there will be reverse proposals in this game... it's kind of early to be thinking about it too... but still.

Also, I could see Volcan being the dragon. Maybe, he finds you in dragon form and tells you to rule, then secretly watches over you under the cover of a butler. :T
