Falling in love with this game...

So I know a lot of people actually don't like this game.. and to be honest I didn't care for it at first but my « Harvest Goddess ».. the more I play this game the more I'm falling in love with it. It's just.. different. The atmosphere.. the windmills.. the graphics.. the town.. the way the hero/heroine look.. so cute. It's fresh.. something I always wanted in a Harvest Moon.

I like that I don't have to chop up wood and smash rocks to upgrade everything. The windmills are a personal favorite feature. And the fact that my barn is actually connected to my house.. never again will my animals get sick/die because of storms.

Also, I admit in the beginning I thought the characters were lame.. by my « Harvest Goddess ».. they are really growing on me. I plan to do a run through on both boy and girl for each bachelor/bachelorett

This game is easily slipping up my favorites lists. Anyone else have it really growing on them? What are your favorite features? Characters?

I dunno why people dont like grB. I loveeeee grB!! it's my fav ds game

hah, my favorite part is probably the fact that i can JUMP! this is my only 2nd HM game but im addicted

My fav. characters are daisy & lloyd. i married lloyd on file 1 and am wooing daisy on file 2. Only 5 more days til my child is born so i am playing nonstop. it's really funny because when i got engaged to lloyd and when i got preggy., i screamed into my pillow. Who knew little pixels could make you so happy? ^.^

LOL! I feel exactly the same way. And I love jumping. If I need to pass time while I'm using a windmill I just go around jumping things.. haha

Daisy is adorable. I'm wooing Antoinette right now. I plan to marry Emiko on another file and I really want to marry Angelo and Ivan. I'm really starting to like the characters.

The only one I don't really care for it Freya. I may eventually try and woo her though lol.

I soooo wish Marian was able to be married. She's so pretty.

I was the same way. I got the game when it first came out and I played it for a little bit. But I think I had another game I was playing at the time and GrB just wasn't holding my attention like the old HM games. I think I played through maybe half of Spring and quit.

I picked it up again this summer because I was bored, and the more I played, the more I started liking it

Amir is probably my favorite character, at least in terms of bachelors/guys in the town. He's really the only bachelor that appeals to me. Ivan is alright and is my second favorite. Lloyd is alright as well, but eh. I just like Amir a lot more than them. I need to play through as a guy sometime to get a better feel for the girls in the game.

And jumping is probably my favorite feature as well

It's fun.

I have to admit it wasn't the best harvest moon game and i prefer others over this but i still did enjoy for the most part.

The character thing, once you get to know them by befriending them and looking at their random events they get better(Some do anyway others stay bland)

I like the jumping ability. In fact sometimes all i do is jump everywhere because it's so fun.
bazaar's okay but i prefer the shipping bin, its just those darned customers that piss me off.

and i like bug catching.
and how you can have 5 dogs and 5 cats.
and i liked how you could go out in storms, and its funny to watch the chickens fly away in the wind |D

Adding voices was cool to, even though some of them made me eye twitch.

As for marriage i picked Lloyd ad Antoinette.

I just always tend to go for girl like Antoinette(Married natalie in sunshine islands)

and i went for Lloyd...just for the hell of it. xD

Favorite Character(Non-marriagable wise), is Raul! xD He's so amusing and huggable and his crush on marian is cute, that event where he tried telling her but she left before he could say anything made me go "D'aww D|" and i wanted to give him a hug afterwards.

I like it well enough, though it's not my favorite... that spot is reserved for Cute :3

My favorite characters are Amir (he reminds me of Seiran Shi from Saiunkoku Monogatari) and Angelo.
And the jumping was like "holy cow, jumpspamming!" at first, but it got... eh. I do like the barrels and windmils and such, though.

you unlock wada for a random event once you have the horse track. walk from your farm to the horse track from 6AM to 6PM ^.^ i know this is on UNOT but some people just hate clicking....like me

Wada...Is...Epic.

He's my favorite Harvest Moon Character of all time 8D

Yeah I can't understand it either anymore. They added a ton of cool features to this game. It goes by fast too. I'm almost done with my first year and have only been playing a little bit.

the overwhelming simplicity got me loving this game for a loooooooooong time :D

jumping, windmills, the bazaar (i keep looking forward to the next one), bug catching, and so much more
