I just hope they don't change the farming system in RF4 somewhere down the line. At least not in a way that diminishes our role in it other then something optional.

In RFO, if there aren't tiers for crops in each person's likes and requests, I'll probably have to hoard items. I just hope we don't see a return of item expiration times.

What they plant is dependent on the monster and their effection level. But as mentioned they wanted players to focus more on the dungeon. But not what happens once they are too powerful for the dungeons or have lost interest.

If I remember right there were food and crops that expired after a time in RF1 I don't remeber them in any other one in the series. But I wouldn't like to see it make a sudden return now.

that pretty summed up my reaction :D i think the monsters have a set crop(s) that they can sow. more will be unlock with higher FP with them. at least, that's what i got

The reason why RF is fun is because there's farming AND dungeon fighting. If I just wanted to dungeon fight, I'd pick up another game. ;____;

yeah, i don't think i'll like to too much myself. although i think there are some monster's that let you grow gems and other trees.

To add insult to injury, monster specializations remain. Only certain mosters can plant and what they plant varies.

yeah, i'm not too happy with Ocean's system myself, but since this will be my first console RF (i didn't get RFF. SOMEDAY!). plus i want to know the story so :'D

Okay, I'm easily confused, is this about RF4 or Oceans? If it's Oceans I wasn't going to get that anyway, since I can't afford the game system. If this is RF4 I'm going to have to rage in a second.

Who knows maybe I won't miss it too much if everything elses is good enough. But it will be missed no less.

Getting back on the topic of RF4. What is up with the wind dragon saving you and appointing you the prince/princess. All the dragons before have been evil(fire and water) or impartial(earth). So why would it take an active role in improving the lives of the people if its bretheren did not. Does that mean we don't fight it this time or will it become corrupt somehow?
