In all honesty I would if I could, I would love to be able to. But only speak level 1 Japanese and have no way to get in touch with anyone in Neverland Co. I do have an associates degree in game design and am working on a computer sciences bachelors, but most companies look for lots of experience and examples of previous work, regardless of a person's ideas. :(

Still I can dream.

Hmm... I'd feel really excited if you can battle with the villager D: Or at least the ones that can't be invited, probably Volkanon..? (But I'd love it if everybody is invite-able though).

I like that you enjoyed my tournament idea, Lumi.

No, unfortunately I'm not a game designer. Though I do have aspiration to be one.

I have an associates degree in game design, but still need a bachelors degree and some experience before I could even qualify for any CS or game design job offerings out there. I was simply saying that if I spoke Japanese well enough and knew how to get a job at Neverland I would love to work on an RF project. But that seems unlikely. I'm not even sure if they hire outside of Japan. Not even sure how to send any ideas to them, assuming they would(most gaming companies won't except outside game ideas unless the person suggesting them is well know). But enough of this.

I can still come up with ideas for what I'd like to see.

Today I said I would do some monsters. I have a unique monster that I am working on and hope to have posted tomorrow. However till then I have decided to bring some based in actual myth(some already exist in RF such as trolls and goblins) and figure out how they could be implemented. bring to mind several existing monster that could be included in the game.

Unicorn/Re’em/Kirin(what ever name you choose it’s the same creature)

One monster is one many people know, the unicorn. Though in game it would probably be referred to by its Japanese name, the kirin. I am not sure which version to include as there are two versions of the mythology in regards to their appearance and behavior.

One is the modern myth of a large white horse with a cone shaped horn. It is fairly timid and gentle hearted.

The ancient myth describes it with a long black, blade-like horn, that is red at the tip. It appears with a mixture of horse, donkey, and deer-like features. Its behavior is described as very aggressive and territorial. Yet is believed to bring good luck and health to those who see it.

Both myths regard that the creature will only approach a pure maiden and that its horn has miraculous healing properties.

In concept for either appearances the monster would have the mount specialization, much like wolves do.
It would drop unicorn horns if defeated. These horns could be used as a component in the most powerful healing medicine. It is very rare for it to generate from a portal for either MC but Frey would be more likely to encounter them than Lest.
Griffons

Another monster would be another well known one, a griffon. Like in mythology it would appear as a large creature with a lions body and the wings and head on an eagle. Like the unicorn it would be a very rare monster, but is more common for Lest than Frey. In comparison it drops large eggs, which are less useful, but has a new monster specialization, flight.
Flight as a monster specialization could be applied to several winged monsters, such as the Weegull. In principle it would act much like the escape spell, when in a dungeon. But while in the village using it would allow the player to select from various sections of the map, and if they met specific parameters and there was nothing in that spot that would be hindered(such as an automated event) the MC would then be transported to the selected area. However, certain level of affection would be required to even use the ability and once first usable only lets you travel to adjacent sections. The number of sections, would increase with the monster’s affection.

Basilisks/Cockatrice(Again different names, same creature)

In myth the basilisk is described as an ornithosaur (a creature with both bird and reptilian features) with horns a scaly head, shaped similar to that of a rooster, but with large teeth. It has a long snake-like body, with only two legs, with talons and large wing shaped protrusions.

Its in game concept would have a similar appearance. As for its combat capabilities it would have two ranged attacks. One a breath based attack that poisons the player and does damage. The other is a slow moving attack that will paralyze if it makes contact. Lastly it has a slow but powerful bit attack. In myth the basilisk is frightened of chickens so in game if you have a cluckadoodle following you they will flee from you. They would have no specialization as a tamed monster, but could be used for fighting.
Well that’s it for today. I might add more on, but I will try to get that unique one up tomorrow.

Oh very good. I like how all your monsters seem like that would be very useful in game.

And I really like the idea of monsters that only appear every so often.

I would love griffins and unicorns XD.

reading Osu's plot... It's just brilliant, I was so good @_@...

The RF series don't have so much good stories that amaze people like some great RPG games (for example, Final Fantasy) have. So after hearing Osu and googa's awesome plot, the other RF games' seem a bit more boring =,=

If you really want to draw one of my ideas. I say sure that would be awesome. I can't wait to see what you draw.

Don't be so modest, the basic idea of the evil prince/princess did come from you and while I did mention the idea of an evil Bishnal in a previous post you were the one that brought it up for the concept. I am good at taking what people want to see, from a simple idea, and giving them depth, detail, and connections.

It wouldn't have been included if you hadn't reminded me as a favor for Molly. But if you don't want credit for that much, I won't press you.

But on a side note, the new monster is finished and I will post it up tomorrow morning.

That looks great Lumi. I can't wait to see how it turns out. I'm sure everyone will love it, and if you want, once its done I could add it to the plot post. I will of course credit you for it. Googaboga's and Osuchin's Drawn Out Rune Factory 4 Plot Theory w/ Art by Lumi(even more drawn out then before :lol: ). Looking forward to the rest.
