Qs: Cucumber to Pickles and Seaweed

Two questions:

Can I not turn cucumbers into pickles?

And;

Where do I find/get seaweed?

You buy it(seaweed) from Chen's stall at the bazaar, but you have to upgrade your bazaar to 25% before Chen will open his stall. Also, he doesn't sell seaweed every week.

You can ferment cucumbers to make pickles in one of the windmills, I think.

N'aw I don't think you can make em in the fermenter o.O seems like I can pickle everything but pickles!

Also Im at 50% i think and i've not seen em sold... Maybe i just missed it lol thankies

I guess you can't make plain pickles. I checked all the windmill recipe lists I have, and it doesn't mention them and no kitchen recipes call for them. Maybe they're trying to be cute with irony.
