Sometimes I wish that too but for now I guess it's fine, somehow all the effort required in getting the games makes it even more exciting and fun when you get the games? Plus the PS3 release wouldn't require any sort of modding or console importing, after this I'm going to get SP and then the original, sadly the arcade versions are totally out of my reach.

Nice arrange of visual novel companies right there by the way! Finished "Itsuka, Todoku, Ano Sora Ni" by Lump of Sugar recently and it was much better than I expected! Also, if you haven't read visual novels by Liar-Soft yet, I'd recommend them greatly! The stories are very interesting, my favorites being Shikkoku no Sharnoth and Shiei no Sona Nyl~
Yeah I know what you mean. Currently the Idolm@ster series on Xbox 360 and PS3 is completely out of my reach since I don't have enough space to fit a complete entertainment system in my room. PSP on the other hand, I need to find out about regional locks and other matters on maintenance before considering getting one. I liked the three SP releases. Looks pretty interesting to play since it has a lot of mini games and quick wits on answering particulars throughout the career mode of the chosen idol.

I've played one of the Princess Maker series, can't remember which one, but it was fairly interesting. Still couldn't figure out the combat mechanics since I never used a walkthrough to get other endings that doesn't rely on it too much.

Sounds interesting though I probably need the Kanji, Harigana or Katakana for the game name to actually have look at it. I'll see if I can find it by other means though. I probably have a good idea though, might be in that pile. Although sounds pretty good from what I can tell when I read it aloud by Romaji and I have heard some of them at one point. I had a quick look at Liar-Soft and I would say... I'm interested but it would have to come after the 10 or something visual novels I'm trying to complete at the moment. Just few more path without the walkthrough for most of them since it's fairly easy for me to get through it for some reason.

From what I can tell with my understanding. "Itsuka, Todoku, Ano Sora Ni" goes by the following:
いつか、届く、あの空に.
Someday, I will reach, to that Sky.

If that's the case, it's has a pretty good plot and storyline. Problem is for me, I didn't know it existed until I went through their database in the site I usually visit for the particular upcoming. Probably need to search the old corner for it since its been out for a while. If you liked that one, perhaps Hello; Goodbye would be an interesting, fairytale like, visual novel you want to go through although it follows a more modern way to stimulating the audience. I don't really have a favorite one since I just basically enjoyed all the visual novels I read so far. I can't remember the one that was fairly old CG but had moments where your heartstrings get pulled by the way they unfold the ending. Gin iro or something along those lines. I had it in my collection somewhere. Oh Prism Ark (aka Prism Heart 2) was insanely fun when you use their secret combos. Entertaining to say the least.

Yes the 3 SP games are very interesting generally so I recommend them, I have yet to play them but to my understanding it has probably the best plot an iM@S game can have? The rivals are interesting and from what I've heard the idols go through considerable character development, I really like that and look forward to that since I have heard the 1 & 2 are rather dry in comparison.

"漆黒のシャルノス -What a beautiful tomorrow-" and "紫影のソナーニル -What a beautiful memories-" are the original titles, as you can see they are part of a series with similar subtitles! Others are "蒼天のセレナリア ~What a beautiful world~" and "赫炎のインガノック -What a beautiful people-" but I have yet to read those unfortunately. Most of them have minigames though, that's another thing I like about them. They focus more on the fantasy aspect than on any kind of romance however, only exception being probably Sona-Nyl, just a heads up if you're the type to read vns for romance mainly!

As for Princess Maker I am going to assume it was PM2? It is easy to find on the internet in comparison to the other 4~

I have heard mixed opinions on Hello;Goodbye, some say positive things about the atmosphere some others describe it as pretentious? But vndb's summary and tags sound like my kind of thing so I'll probably give it a go!

And I have heard about Prism Ark, a friend of mine loves it! I have it on my backlog right after a bunch of Denpa oriented games so its pretty much something more lighthearted for a change of pace~

Well the 3 SP you just generally focus on one character development per save file play through. You can unlock the traditional means of raising 3 girls with 52 weeks in-game at one point. It's pretty fun, although not as extensive in my opinion like the home consoles version. Might be just me but its fairly short and has high replay value.

Hmm... I'll have a look on those you mention when I can spare the time. Sounds fairly interesting since - from what I can tell - it has interesting character specific plots and story I probably will like to enjoy as always. Just need to take note of them since I basically have to look for the product at their home site.

PM series are generally easy to find as long you willing to spend the time but it might be that one. I had an easier time getting the latest ones rather find the older versions due to the limited production and prints of copies.

Hello; Goodbye did have a lot of reviews like that but if you're more into romance than science fiction elements of possibilities. You probably want the latest release 学☆王 -THE ROYAL SEVEN STARS- 初回版 or if you want something older than that Nursery Rhyme tend to be pretty good on pure loves romance. If you like Hello; Goodbye, I think August 穢翼のユースティア would probably interest you as well. Mind you its fairly good. I'll be off and have a look at the ones you suggested and actually see if I can find a copy somewhere in the world.

Aaaah I got 500 Wii points for setting up my sister's internet and I have noooo idea what to buy.
Do I spend some Club Ninty points and get Harvest Moon, or do I get something else?
Aghaghagh « Snuggly Bunny » choices.

^ When you say buying HM with Wii points, do you mean My Little Shop or the original? My Little Shop isn't worth buying in my opinion. I bought all the extra downloadable stuff along wih the game and I felt like I wasted my money. If mini games are you're thing, you'll probably like it, though.

What have I been playing? Waaaayyy too many games, lol. I have this thing where I feel the need to stockpile as much music, games, etc. as possible, so my backlog is pretty much never going to end. Add that on to my raging inner completionist, and it makes for a very overwhelming experience.

PSX: Valkyrie Profile
PSP: Persona 2 Innocent Sin
GBA: Riveria - The Promised Land
DS: SMT Devil Survivor, SMT Strange Journey, DQ V, Radiant Historia, Avalon Code, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon - Explorers of the Sky, Harvest Moon Tale of Two Towns, Rune Factory 2
PC: Princess Maker 2, The Embodiment of Scarlet Devil
+About 6 VNs that I'm too lazy to list

And I just ordered Tactics Ogre: Let us Cling Together and The Dark Spire. Arrrghh!

I'm still trying to get the true endings for some games and I find it easier to complete games in my alternative languages than English.

PS2:
- Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana - Time to beat the optional boss then take the boss down... again.
- Dot Hack GU Vol 3 - When I can spare the time, I'll probably end the game in 30 hours at tops with almost all the items.
- Persona 3 FES & 4 - Just playing it for fun. Second run with all the extras.

NDS:
- Radiant Historica - Still looking for the final two quests to get the final ending. It's going to take forever.
- Harvest Moons Twin Villages (I mean a Tale of Two Towns) - Will get back to it on another day
- Advance Wars DS - Still going through Hard Campaign and not caring about the ranks (Still getting most mission at S Rank though)

PC:
- Mass Effect series - It's going to take another 60 hours I bet to get up to date. Excluding all the downloadable contents
- Sins of the Solar Empire Trinity - I don't like the space ponies achievement. That's going to take forever to complete.
- x10+ visual novels - Well... I've spent more time on those then all the games mentioned in this post so far.
- League of Legends - Honestly there's nothing to track your progress since its a never ending online game like every online game out there. Ranked doesn't count... I'm just not as good as I would like to think.

I'm finally able to play again!
I'm trying to get back to my Harvest Moon: Tale of Two Towns.
I also decided to play two games at once, something I wouldn't allow myself too often. The other one is: Pokemon Yellow - Yes, there was a time when Pokemon was still simple!
