Made it to Granorg!! I LOVE AHT SO MUCH  Really excited and currently roaming around the sewers. Grinding a bit because holy « Puppy Doodoo » so many enemies! I really love the gameplay and the plot has really picked up. Currently using a guide to get to every sidequest, and when I don't have the guide in front of me I talk to everyone in town after every action  As I play through SH I periodically sit back and think... I like AH better  Any tips?

Devil Survivor 2 comes out this week I AM SO EXCITED YOU HAVE NO IDEA so unfortunately I may drop RH for a bit to play that game forever. I've been rotating between a bunch of games anyway and playings Sims 3 and Wakfu on the side. Since my show ended last weekend I will have a LOT more time to dedicate to each game, so I won't drop RH completely because HRNGH AWESOME.

Also popped back into playing AP when I get stressed out. Hanging out on my farm waiting for my kids to be born and enjoying living with Kathy. Only 6 more days until the end of Fall and hopefully the Hero of Farming title which means HK TIME!! 8D

EDIT: Finally made it to Chapter 2 in both timelines in RH! OMG THIS GAME IS AWESOME :lala:

well, it picks up even more after the sewers~ and they bring out the best character ever

i think i like the SH better... the AH has too much sitting around in celestia for my tastes (though the celestia music is pretty amazing), and then running to forgia... i think the AH is the one with the prolonged sequence that feels like filler where you have to actually -walk- the entire way from celestia to forgia, without just using the world map to travel quicker... though, the AH has better stuff with the second best character ever (field marshall viola  ), i'd still rather play the SH and have the best character ever in my party.

tip: once you get into the itolia wasteland, go left until you talk to the guy that will introduce you to th master. that quest is WORTH IT for aht's star traps and eruca's light abilities. seriously worth it. aht and eruca were always in my party.

other than that, running around and talking to everyone after every action is good. also, there will be questions that are not at a node (and you don't usually know until afterwards...) that you have to answer correctly to get a certain important quest. they should all be in the AH. what i would do is be sure to answer the good answer on every question, then go back and get the bad endings on the nodes if you want a 100% white chronicle (like me, haha). that way, you'll be sure to answer those correctly.

Thank you so much for the tips! I've been choosing the correct answer with the help of a guide and plan to do just what you said haha. I'm in Chapter 3 in both histories now and yea it's definitely picked up :lala:

How is the Pokemon Ranger series? I keep thinking about trying it out but I dunno what it's about and I'm trying to resist the urge to buy ALL the pokemon games  Is it worth it?

It's worth it. :D I remember enjoying the game very much. But it really does depend on each person.

Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition.
This games a lot of fun. I tend to not be very good at stealth but I'm doing pretty decent right now. Woohoo! Also some Skyrim and KoA here and there.

Depends. I think it's quite fun.
The only downside is that there are some scratches on my lower screen DS due to excessive fast motion loop-making, so I constantly need to wipe them so that it's not that really visible.

Currently playing:
- Professor Layton and The Unwound Future
- Pokemon Black & White
- Some VNs: Kana Little Sister and Clannad. I'm in the mood for some tearjerker games :D

There are a lot more but I put them off for a while.

I lack the dexterity to capture some of the harder-to-catch pokemans in that game, and it can make a right mess of your bottom screen protector (or the screen itself if you don't have the foresight to apply one before playing), so I can't really recommend it.

Might have to do this when I get back from London. Also had a craving for Fallout 3, so that might be getting reinstalled too, or maybe I'll pick up New Vegas if the price has dropped a bit.

They're very good games! I started the Ranger games backwards (Played Guardian Signs first, then Shadows of Almia, then the original Ranger.)
They can mess up your bottom screen a bit though, and one piece of advice for you: DON'T try to use the side of your glasses in place of a Stylus. I have three big marks on my screen thanks to that, and the damn ice bird. (Articuno.)
Here's some random artwork from Pokémon Ranger to MAKE EVERYONE HAPPY:

The first Ranger game is pretty bad in the sense that you have to complete the capture in one go, as opposed to Shadows' "life bar". It's good to try out though.
Never played the third so I wouldn't know~

@Aurora Funny, I only found the 'loop so many times in a row' system easier than the 'friendship gauge' system outside of boss battles, where it was annoying as hell.
Although I agree that Ranger 1 is the most challenging of them all, but is still pretty fun.
Ranger 3 has a good enough plot, but it is very easy.
As is Ranger 2, but it seems somewhat longer than the other two.

Ok, I'll start with Ranger 3 then so I can get into it! Thank you for the recommendations~

BUT FIRST!
Devil Survivor 2 will be in my hands this afternoon! I will play it forever

I got into all of them though.
I'm also playing Guardian Signs/Ranger 3 when I can.
