Uh, yeah. I'm not the only person who likes it.
But that's a topic for another thread.

You're getting off topic, there's most likely a topic about Resonance Fate in the "Other Games" forums.

3DS being sold at $40 isn't a bad price. They are luxury items (gasp, I know, but you don't need them to sustain your body), and with all the new technology, it's reasonable.

It's highly reasonable price, but it will go down when RF$ for Eng came out anyway. Nintendo is very busy to rack 3DS's fame up. i read that nintendo sustain huge ammount of loss from 3DS, considering many title for the game has been delayed. with the additional of HM twin village already available on both DS n 3DS, it's very likely that RF4 will only for 3DS. they wouldn't want any more loss from the handheld, for sure. it's tragic, tough.. i'm very poor n only own DS Lite. buying it for just one game just irrational for me, since i'm still using pocket-money system, not my own salary. i thought about it once, saving money for 3DS or PSP, and ended up on PSP, tough i'm still saving money right now.. has anyone here played all RF franchise?

Well I haven't played Tides of Destiny yet because it hasn't been released in the US. But I have played RF 1-3 and Frontier. So I have played every RF game that has been released in the US.

Sprinkles has the imported version of RFO so she may have played all of them

It will probably be the wind dragon Ventuswill. Though from what I've heard about the story thus far, that would require one really big plot twist. From wanting you to run a country, to wanting to fight you.
The dragons Terrable(Earth), Fiersome(Fire), and Aquaticus(Water) have already been beaten. So the only element left is wind, and Ventuswill has already been mentioned and shown in game, from what has been seen in the updates. Ventuswill is even on the title.

Technically speaking, the dragons were never "beaten".

In RF1, it was Terrable's infant form, the Grimoire, who Raguna defeated. Then Terrable at full prime stopped the Sechs' advancement to Kardia at the end.

In RF2, Aaron/Aria did defeat Fiersome but just enough to seal him back into the Forest of Beginnings w/ Dragon Break. Kyle's entire reason of coming to Alvarna was to check on Fiersome's seals. So far, he's the only dragon in the Norad Dragon Quadrilogy who had actual goals for destruction.

In RF3, Aquaticus simply wanted to use Micah in order to bring the Sharance Flowers back. Even post-story, Aquaticus still rests in the Dragon Cave.

My point was that they were the final bosses of each game. They were fought against and the MCs won each time, even if there was a greater reasoning behind it, beyond what the perceived. So while they weren't killed they were still defeated/beaten in battle.

Oops, I thought you meant "beaten" as in "beaten for good". My bad.

Although as far as capabilities for 3DS goes, I mentioned this in the other thread but think Neverland would take advantage of the features with the sceneries in the game? (ex: certain cutscenes, boss cgi cinematics, sceneries during dates, ect)

That's personally what I am hoping for too. While it doesn't seem like a huge step thus far compared to other games, it is still in development and they might suprise us.

Oh that's right only wind left.. i just knew by know that the first dragon is earth.
and yeah, since it's the first RF on 3ds, i'm looking forward for surprises too
one thing for sure that the combat will be improved. and cutscene or events are very likely. I justhope that even RF 4 is only on 3ds, they will make a new game for DS afterward..

and this may be really off topic, but which is better, PSP or 3DS? (sorry for the author to ruin your topic a bit :) )

There is an enhanced dating system with a special zoom function on the romantic events, so this is confirmed.

This is highly unlikely: 3DS is the new console. I really don't think any new games will be coming out for DS, with the potential exception of games that already came out overseas and are still in localization here.

PSP has lots of problems (including the fact that it no longer uses UMDs, so you HAVE to join the Playstation Network if you want to buy games. I would recommend 3DS. If you're really more interested in Sony games, though, I would wait for the Vista to come out.

my, u're right. if i think about it, soon enough 3ds's popularity will go high, and why will nintendo keep DS if 3ds is on fire? it can even be possible that Twin town is the last HM for the ds TT

honestly, tough--my fav is HM series,, which is more focused on nintendo, and moreover PSP has very few HM games.. but i liked RPG-adventure too. it's getting confusing tough. and what i mean by RPD -adv. is something like FF and Shin meg@mi series.. it's getting confusing tough, so maybe i'll wait a lil longer.. thanks, anyway ^^

any other advice? i appreciate it

The 3DS is region locked, so does that mean any DS game you imported from Japan would just be useless on it unless you had a spare DS laying about? Bummer, but not too inconvinient I guess.
Actually didn't someone mention that you can play any DS games on your 3DS it was just 3DS games that were region locked?
I'm not sure myself but I thought someone mentioned that on here.
